In the deadliest terror attack in America in the last year, at least 15 people were killed and 30 injured when a vehicle plowed into a crowd in a popular tourist district in the US city of New Orleans, city authorities said Wednesday. The area is a popular tourist district in the southern city's French Quarter, and many people would have been out celebrating new year.

"The 8th District is currently working a mass casualty incident involving a vehicle that drove into a large crowd on Canal and Bourbon Street. There are 30 injured patients ... and 10 fatalities," NOLA Ready, New Orleans emergency preparedness program, said in a statement. It is said that the injured had been taken to five local hospitals. 2 of the injured are officers, according to Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick in New Orleans they are both in stable condition.

The mass causality incident occurred at the intersection of Bourbon Street and Iberville in the city's French Quarter neighborhood at around 3:15 a.m., WGNO reported.

According to civilians in the area, the driver got out of the car after ramming into the crowd and began opening fire, can be heard in the first video below. Police fired back at the suspect, the outlet reported, citing witness accounts. "He was hell bent on creating the carnage and the damage that he did... This man was trying to run over as many people as he possibly could," Kirkpatrick said.

The terrorist was identified as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar. Jabbar was carrying an ISIS flag in the truck, and authorities have said he was dressed in military gear as can be seen in the photo of his corpse and of his truck.

He was raised in Texas and was in the U.S. Army Reserve from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, according to Karol Markowicz of the NY Post and Fox News, he had a stolen Glock and a .308 rifle with him.

Shamsud-Din Bahar Jabbar has more than a decade's worth of experience in the military, records show, including a deployment to Afghanistan.

Mr. Jabbar, who the police said drove a pickup in a deadly attack in New Orleans early Wednesday, served in the Army from March 2007 until January 2015 and deployed once to Afghanistan, before serving in the Army Reserve until July 2020, according to a U.S. Army release. He left with the rank of staff sergeant.

Two people were found alive and rescue operations were under way, a Muan fire official said. Yonhap news agency said three people had been rescued.

• Where the murder took place.

Back on November 3, 1998, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, a man and a woman ran into a gunman on the porch they shared with their neighbors. The man was shot and killed, and his fiancée was badly wounded but managed to call 911 after the shooter took off in a car. When police arrived, they found the man dead and another man seriously hurt. Inside the house, they also found the body of the injured man's wife. Jim and his fiancé had just come back from dinner and headed toward their porch ay 395. Out of nowhere, the door at 391 swung open, and a white guy came out pointing a handgun at them. He fired at Jim, who was standing behind his fiancé. She dropped to the ground, covering her head, then he shot at her too. She pretended to be dead and held her breath. She later told police the shooter drove off in Travis' wife's Jeep Cherokee.

The responding officers asked the injured Travis where the gun was and who the actor was. He said nothing, but motioned toward Jim. Travis was taken to the local hospital and later flown to another hospital due to his severe injuries. While being transported, he was questioned as to what had taken place. He said he didn't want to talk about it.

The front door of 391 was standing open and the responding officers observed a large amount of blood on the stairs and walls leading to the second floor. Police did an emergency sweep of the residence for additional victims and/or perpetrators. Officers entered the master bedroom where there appeared to have been a violent struggle. Officers observed something on the bed covered by a comforter.

The comforter was pulled back revealing the nude body of a woman later identified as Christine, who was Travis' wife. Her body displayed a severe laceration across her chest. Her hands and wrists had been bound and secured to the headboard of the bed with duct tape. Her head and face were wrapped in duct tape covering her eyes and mouth. She was dead.

The victim had multiple stab wounds and had a gaping sharp force injury to her chest and abdomen. The medical examiner ruled the cause of death as multiple stab wounds of the chest and lungs. The stab wounds had penetrated into the heart and lungs. The downward portion of the evisceration wound measured over a foot long and penetrated some six inches. The wound was consistent with a sawing motion. Four postmortem incisions of the neck, facial injuries and hemorrhage of her scalp were also recorded.

A trail of blood led from the foyer across the living room and into the kitchen. In the kitchen, the blood pooled in an area beneath an empty wall-mounted phone base. Bloodstains were observed on the linoleum floor in the kitchen as well as the stairs leading up to the master bedroom. Two bullet holes were observed in the living room ceiling, originating from the master bedroom. A bullet hole was observed in the left side of the doorframe of 391 where a bullet had been fired at the reporting witness. There were a number of blood smears on the carpet upstairs in the bedroom and spare bedroom and blood smears on the walls. Preliminary investigation indicated that Christine had been raped, murdered, and sexually mutilated in her home.

• Valuable microscopic evidence was retrieved from both the body and immediate area surrounding the body.

• The woman was secured to the bed with duct tape and covered with the bed covers.

• The offender had eviscerated the victim after plunging a knife into her left chest. The stab wounds penetrated into the heart and lungs.

• Victim had been eviscerated and her hands were tied over her head with duct tape to the bed board.

• The victim's throat was cut and she had suffered numerous stab wounds to her body including a long laceration from her breast to her abdomen.

While detectives were processing the master bedroom at the crime scene, Michael Singley was taken into custody. He was hiding at his house, which was surrounded by tactical officers. Detective Sargeant Kelso had made contact with him by telephone and was negotiating with him to surrender. Shortly before 2 p.m. he surrendered to tactical officers who were outside his residence.

Detective Sergeant Kelso, who was supervising this aspect of the investigation, requested a search warrant, which was executed at about 6 p.m. on November 4. A Smith & Wesson .44 magnum was recovered along with ammunition and the keys for Christine's Jeep. In addition, notes written by Singley to his family and fiancée requesting they visit him in prison were found. Bloodstained clothing and his sneakers, which matched the sneaker print in the master bedroom, were also seized.

• There had been a bloody altercation in the bedroom. The offender had removed a light bulb to darken the crime scene. He inadvertently left his fingerprints on the bulb.

Detective Sergeant Kelso interviewed Singley at the police station during which time he made statements. He believed all four persons were dead and claimed that he was having dreams about hurting people. He stated that he had planned on killing himself after killing Christine and Travis. Singley refused to discuss what happened to Christine. He only admitted that he killed her and that she was dead prior to Travis returning home.

Singley stated that he had purchased the duct tape, knife, and shells for Travis's gun that afternoon. He drove to the area of his cousin's residence and parked. He knew that Travis was in school that evening. He went to the residence and told Christine that his car had broken down and that he needed assistance. Christine allowed him into the house and then went upstairs to change. Singley entered the bedroom while she was changing. He began to struggle with her, knocking her to the floor.

Singley stated that he wrapped duct tape around her arms and legs to secure her and removed the phone from the bedroom. He said he then went down to the kitchen and removed that phone. When he returned to the master bedroom, he discovered that Christine had gotten free and had locked the door. He stated that he kicked in the door and again struggled with her, subduing her, and taping her to the bed. Singley would not discuss anything else involving her. Singley then described Travis returning home unexpectedly and the ensuing assault during which he suffered a stab wound to the leg. He described the shooting of the neighbors and leaving the scene in Christine's Jeep, which he abandoned. He stated he hid in a shed behind his house until he could get in.

CONCLUSION

Singley was charged with two counts of criminal homicide and two counts of attempt to commit homicide. He was also charged with rape, criminal trespass, and theft of a motor vehicle. During his interrogation, Singley alluded to the fact that he was depressed and wanted to commit suicide. Singley thought that he needed to commit a horrific crime in order to kill himself and that's why he killed Christine and then attacked his cousin, Travis.

The jury in the penalty phase decided Singley was guilty of first degree murder with aggravating circumstances and recommended death. The judge sentenced Singley to death in the killing of Christine and life imprisonment for the murder of the other victim, who was shot as the offender fled from the rape–murder scene.

In Riverside, California, on March 4th, 2024, a 19 year old named Alexandro Romero hosted a house party in 3400 block gay way (Yes that's actually the name.) with friends in Los Angeles suburb of Riverside before stabbing two people for unknown reason. Only one of the victims was a 18 year old who survived and was immediately taken to the emergency hospital for treatment. While the other victim named Adrian Gwapo who was 17 years old did not.

Adrian Gwapo He died later after the brutal stabbing. Alexando Romero was later taken to the hospital before being arrested and taken to Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.

Footage of the incident surfaced across social media last week and it shows Reinaldo Fuentes lying in a boat with blood stains on the back of his head.

Fuentes was kidnapped and killed by fellow drug traffickers for the alleged theft.

Sources told Veteran journalism Rafael Tolentino Tolentino that Fuentes was murdered because he had been involved with stealing a multimillion-dollar cocaine shipment destined for Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands.

Fuentes accepted the money for 200 kilos of cocaine in Tortola and then returned to the sea to bring back the drugs. However, he dumped the kilos of cocaine during a fake pursuit that was fabricated with the island's coast guard.

He then returned and removed the cocaine from the water and repackaged it with different tags on each bundle, instead of the ones used by the Cartel del Golfo, and took the drugs to another island in the Caribbean.

However, the other traffickers with Fuentes ratted him out to the gang, leading to his death.

Tolentino revealed Monday on 'Esto No Es Radio,' a daily morning show in the Dominican Republic that after the theft, Fuented got fake identification documents posing as Miguel Fulcar and living in the Caribbean nation.

The fake ID made it difficult of authorities to find him.

Funtes was also reportedly dating a prominent lawyer in the town of Bonao.

Sources told Tolentino that Fuentes entered the country July 14 and was there for two days before leaving.

They said that he was a middleman for drug shipments made between the Dominican Republic and neighboring countries in the Caribbean region for the Cartel del Golfo, a criminal organization based out of Venezuela.

When he left, Gang members invited Fuentes to a cartel meeting at an unknown location on July 17. That is when he was kidnapped and dumped at sea the next day.

In the video, a gang member ensured that the executioners faces were not show on film.

Two men then struggled to lift Puentes off the raft because he had an anchor wrapped around his body to prevent him from saving himself. They subsequently dump him headfirst in to the sea.

A tragic case of domestic violence occurred on April 19, 2018, in a village located in Kandal province, Cambodia. A 20-year-old woman, named Tun Srey Ney, was brutally murdered by her ex-husband, 21-year-old Ra Chhay Rath, in a moment of desperation and desperation following the breakdown of their marriage.

The crime happened at around 2:30 pm, in front of Kampong Chamlong Secondary School. When two young teenagers from Michigan decided to partake in some day-drinking, they stumbled upon the topic of the abandoned house located down the street. This house, which had appeared vacant for over two years, had yet to be explored, and so these two teens got it in their heads that they were the ones for the job. Since there is strength in numbers, the teens invited two other friends to join them on their mission.

She had last been seen leaving after the bar closed around 3am and her body was discovered around 6am, so she had not been dead long when found.

Blood was found on the pants and on the top of her shirt from the brutality of the strangulation. Because the jeans were so tightly wrapped around her throat, the theory has been floated that she may actually have been hanged with them instead of strangled.

She also had some bruises and abrasions on her belly that could have been from beating or possible being burned with a lighter or other tool of some kind.

Hồ Yến Nhi, 2nd runner up in Miss Vietnam in 2022 was born in 2006.

After the pageant, Nhi worked various jobs. It's been mentioned she engaged in sugar dating; Nhi met married man Ta Duy Khanh and they began dating, though Khanh kept their relationship status vague as he said they're close.

Khanh was known in his community as a man without any criminal history. He had moved to the capital Hanoi with his family for better opportunities. Back when he married, he had returned to his hometown briefly before moving back to Hanoi with his wife.

Khanh claims he lended Nhi 50 million Vietnamese dong (nearly 2k usd). Despite repeated remands for repayment, Nhi didn't settle this debt.

On October 10th, 2023, when Nhi was 17 years old, the two had dinner and went to Khanhs house. When an argument over the debt in the bedroom escalated, Khanh gets a large knife and attacks Nhi.

He inflicts two fatal stab wounds on Nhi, puncturing her right lung and heart wall. Nhi dies from the blood loss.

From there, Khanh takes any of her identification papers and drags Nhi to the bathroom from the bedroom and begins to dismember her with a butcher knife.

He put the body parts in a white styrofoam box and calls a taxi to go to the Red River. He carried the box to the riverside and scatters some remains in the water and burying others along the bank.

Khanh sneaks back to the river in the early morning of October 13th, 2023 to avoid detections and covers the remains with cement.... the remains he remembered.

The very same day, a fisherman with his family going afternoon fishing spots something odd floating on the bank around 30 meters away. Moving closer, they find it's a human leg.

Police are called and a search of the general area results in finding another leg and a decomposing head.

Nhi's body was now a mere shadow of her former beauty, her eyes popping out from bloat.

Hearing of this news, Khanh tries to flee to his hometown via bus.

Autopsy determined that the victim was a female about 20 years old, not wearing clothes, and decomposing. Nhi was identified by her mother due to a distinct tattoo on one of her ankes before being DNA proven.

On October 14, police were sent to arrest Khanh where he used a knife to injure himself. Taken to a general hospital for emergency treatment, Khanh was in stable condition to be sentenced.

Ok, if you have looked at this, and you still don't understand why, don't worry, I will try to explain here and also put some more examples:

If you put someone in a headlock like that, you probably don't know a lot of grappling, and if you do it against someone that is more experienced in grappling than you, they will have almost always the opportunity to do multiple strikes like poking your eyes, hitting your balls or worse, take your back and slam you onto the ground, and that the biggest risk you'll take by doing a headlock.

I'll start off here with a video I'm positive most of you have already seen around here:

If he was already in the wrong for resisting arrest, he worsened his situation by giving the cop his back and getting slammed

Ah, come on! He had his legs perfectly set for a hook, that would prevent the slam, he of course went for the headlock. Had he hooked his legs and forced himself down he wouldn't be bleeding everywhere.

Even if you're on the ground it's unsafe.

Given the fact that he was latched in his neck, it made it a lot easier to just lift him up using his hip and slam him on the ground, causing brutal damage.

He got suplexed with a lot of ease, headlocking him and giving his back to the other guy.

They decided to fight behind the lamp post, but I'll point it out anyways. He tried to headlock a guy twice his size LOL

Bonus: As any fight move, don't underestimate the headlock. It can turn out pretty disastrously:

This one did nothing after getting headlocked, being realistic hooking his leg wouldn't have done nothing, but he had a window of time to hit his balls with the knee or try to escape, chose to do nothing, got his skull cracked and severe brain damage.

This occurred in China back in 2019, the elderly lady was assumed to be either Chinese or Buryat. Judging from the woman's attire she was either a country lady who don't care about outer appearances or of lower-class/homeless. There has been no reported news of the killer.

The body was found very fresh, probably the same day she was tortured and killed given how the body's back just barely started to bruise from blood pooling.

The killer twisted and tore the woman's perineum (between the vagina and anus) with a blade, then inserting his member into this "third hole."

An older case nearly a decade ago from Slovakia, a 79-year-old man newly widower formerly locksmith was found dead in his garage with the table saw still running. The investigation stated the man became depressed after his wife's recent death, leading to his suicide. To follow his wife in death, the man plunges his head into a self made high-speed table saw, making sure he's fully dead. This shoots his brain's left hemisphere 8ft behind him.

The investigation concluded the scene had no obvious signs of intervention, struggle, or break in. The man had no history of suicidal behavior, mental health problems, or alcohol abuse. Blood and urine alcohol concentrations as well as toxological studies were negative, so the old man did this sober and this was ruled a suicide. Relatives mentioned that the last days prior to his death he was unusually non-talkative. No suicide note was found

This happened in Brazil. A female motorcyclist's neck was caught on a kite string floating about and suddenly decapitated; her body thrown on the road divider and her head rolling to the curb.

Because it happened so quickly the police had to find the bloodied string for the event to be pieced together.
