EFFORTPOST Arms and Armour of Mesoamerica

Introduction

Metal alloying came comparatively quite late in Mesoamerica, and when it did arrive, it saw fairly limited use. Despite this, Mesoamerica was constantly warring all the same as any other urbanized region of the time, with armies in the region easily reaching the tens of thousands (and no, war was not just waged for sacrifice). This caused some pretty unique weapons to evolve. Much of the earlier specimens have been claimed by time, only showing up in art. As such (and as usual), most armaments will be from the Late Post-Classic (circa 1250-1521/1697).

Ranged

Most battles started out with a hail of projectiles from both sides, just before the armies charge at each other. Afterwards, these ranged weapons were then used to harass the opponents from a safe distance during the rest of the clash.

——————————————————————————————

Atlatl

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742585213IaRUy78750h9Cg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742585213RaSF5K8wPspGdg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742585213V7aLaGNHFppgHQ.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742585213IRR3WsC6QXfgqA.webp

We might view the bow as being superior and even more technologically advanced than the Spear Thrower - called Ahtlatl in Nahuatl (language of the Aztecs/Mexihca and some others in the region) - but much of Mesoamerica saw it differently. The bow was associated with the nomadic Chichimecs up north (who migrated into Mesoamerica en masse during the Post-Classic), while the Ahtlatl was associated with the Toltecs of the Early Post-Classic; and thus, with civilization and divinity (this was largely the case before the Toltecs, as well). This is reflected in combat. Usually, only the rich and powerful used the Ahtlatl.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742585213PC2m2JwtQIhy-w.webp

It was made of wood, with an end hook to attach the darts and usually two finger holes at the front. It's also possible a small stone was used as a counter wait at the bottom. Being very popular amongst the nobles, it was often richly adorned with carvings, paint and even precious metals. The darts themselves usually had obsidian, flint, chert or rarely bone tips, but copper points have also been found. The length of the darts was about 1.8 metres (1.9 feet) and they most often used turkey and duck feathers as fletching. Art depicts warriors carrying 3-4 under their shield (either grabbing them with the hand or having straps) instead of using quivers, and they were deployed in the charge against the enemy (after the initial volley of projectiles had already been fired). The Spear Thrower was probably a pretty good anti-armour weapon in its day.

——————————————————————————————

Bow

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742585212VgGfOIsFl00_Rw.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742585212ttxlO_it6hP-PA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/174267108679iyM06K8mnYUg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742671086xi8Bteb1ImYLdQ.webp

Not everyone saw the bow as primitive, and even those who did still, used it in most wars. It was just used less commonly and as a commoner's weapon, but certain civilizations took great pride in the bow and their Chichimec heritage (this was the case for the second-largest empire in Mesoamerica: the Tarascans/Purépecha). Bows were usually about 1.5 metres (5 feet) long, with animal sinew as string. Quivers were made of animal hide and the arrows were the same as that of the Atlatl, just shorter - and to date, I believe no copperheads have been found (although, it's not too unrealistic that they existed).

——————————————————————————————

Sling

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742585211-5Ym9CwoEsTYaQ.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742585212vnZN4NSljJVt3Q.webp

Slings were more popular than bows in most of Mesoamerica. They were made of maguey fibre, using oval and round stones or clay balls. Reportedly, said clay balls could even be filled with obsidian razors or pebbles - to then cause a scatter effect. Another likely effective anti-armour weapon. Even more so than the atlatl, which likely did little against Spanish steel (not that every Spaniard was in full plate, or even using steel armour), while the Slings were said to have caused great damage against the Europeans' metal.

——————————————————————————————

Blowgun

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742506680lL2uJilW7Y1Sbg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742506681P2PVMY-x-aoeUQ.webp

The Blowgun is often associated with Mesoamerica, but they were more used for hunting than warfare. This stereotype comes from the idea that the entirety of Mesoamerica was jungle land; nonetheless, it's still worth mentioning. It was made of hollow reed and fletched with cotton. In the jungle regions, they could douse the darts in the neurotoxins from tree frogs' skin. With the poison dart frog being found in the most Southern points of Mesoamerica. This little guy secretes batrachotoxin - causing convulsions, salivation, muscle contractions and just plain old death.

Grenade

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17425061547kRl6Zf-MJ_trQ.webp

How many of you skipped to this part, thinking, "Grenades? What?" Obviously, there was no gunpowder involved; instead (and if the Popol Vuh of the K'iche' Maya is to be be believed), the Maya sometimes hollowed out gourds or used ceramics with bees and wasps inside to then throw at enemies. Too interesting not to include.

Macuahuitl

Sketch of authentic Macuahuitl from the Royal Armoury of Madrid, destroyed in a fire in 1884^

The Macuahuitl, one of the most popular of all Native weapons, along with a widespread use in Mesoamerica. Of course, it had to go first. However, the title of sword is a bit dubious; many archaeologists consider it more an axe or even mace over a sword. There is further controversy about how it even looked, the most famous depictions - coming from popular post-colonial codices like the Codex Mendoza - certainly look more like a mace than a sword, with those big chunks of obsidian. But the only photo and sketches of a still intact and authentic Macuahuitl show something more slim and blade-like. The main consensus is that the Macuahuitl probably had small and close-together blades, with perhaps the other version still having existed, just with a more ritualistic purpose.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17425808600SHu_Ts4Jao9Qw.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742580861sJO5HLeVtn9GsA.webp Only known photos of that same Macuahuitl

Now for the actual weapon. It was made of a wooden "paddle" of greatly varying length and with. Grooves would be made on the two sides and small obsidian (or sometimes flint) blades were glued in. Said razors were usually in the shape of squares or rectangles, but sometimes, of triangles. If the soldier was a nobleman, he could decorate his weapon with paint, engravings and possibly precious metals, or it could stay undecorated. There is also a chance they could have been curved to varying degrees, but it is uncertain if the art depicting this, was actually about maces.

Glaive

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742499426pdoeulMtr0gyOg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742499426lsGqTN2AIsMhRA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742499426fCvk-hN0zuGdlw.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742668583_92JCFLTgnMmKw.webp

A second type of sword-like weapon existed in Oaxaca. This "Glaive" does not have an official name as far as I'm aware, and it could be argued that it's more of a short spear or mace (or even that it's simply a stylized depiction of another weapon). It was made in the same way, but the interesting thing is that the Mixtecs sometimes used shark teeth in these "Glaives" (similar to the Hawaiian Lei o Mano). I have heard that the Mixtecs did this to the Macuahuitl too, but have not seen such imagery; thus, I think it's referring to this weapon instead.

——————————————————————————————

Axes

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742592919a8RZioaoOM9WrA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742592919lfiegNVn-kMdqQ.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742592920cxOQgsL1I3Ei-Q.webp

The Axe was the only weapon to almost completely be replaced by metal. However, its use on the battlefield is debated. There is a fair bit of art depicting this weapon during war, but perhaps the drawings showed a more ceremonial use, often being seen in the hands of mythical figures. They differed in size, but were usually fairly short. In Western Mesoamerica; however, axes reached greater length, and it's more accepted to have been used during conflicts there (also because of their more frequent and earlier adoption of metal alloying).

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742592921zKVqTqNozTigAQ.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/174259291845lI2iAe8eWx3g.webp

Earlier hatchets were more often flint, chert or obsidian, and these versions still persisted into the 16th century. However, copper and bronze axe heads were favoured by the Late Post-Classic, and even used as currency (the "axe money" was too thin to use as a tool or weapon, though). The alloy for this bronze was most commonly a mix of copper and tin or arsenic, but also on occasion, copper with lead, antimony or bismuth. Sometimes they even used a mixture of multiple of these metals.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/174267641862mGEDU2j7iC6Q.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742676418ONxHkG4FbGc0Ag.webp Process of smelting ores

One can imagine this being used as a fairly effective anti-armour weapon, and a Purepecha example - perhaps more befitting of the title pickaxe - definitely would have been one of the best for this. As always, handles could be decorated with paint or engravings.

Maces

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742675648fhhCLRF7VNSPRA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742675648HrgXT9LAa7rZGg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742675648LHpTepuA84-JFw.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17426756495L-FIkjSN9mL8g.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742675649xK-6XlMtxTi2kg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17427194102SRH92rdRl8MXA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742719411ocoht8aAOGXaoA.webp

There was a wide variety of maces. From basic wooden batons to stone heads, to copper spiked morning stars. Some peoples - like the Mexihca - didn't have many clubs, with basic clubs and wooden bludgeons with balled heads (but possibly there was a type of obsidian-spike club called: Huitzauhqui or Macuahuitzoctli, there isn't much evidence for this, though). But the Aztecs weren't the only civilization in Mesoamerica, and this can be seen with the volume of different maces of different sizes and materials. You had spikes of stone copper or even bronze, weird curved designs, 1-2 handed versions, detachable circular disks, etc...

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742675649LQs7iX5Oy_xt4Q.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742675649A9V5SaOSycOjqg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17426756495yKM5wzypG1NbA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742675649rZBU9tbTMcyHOA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17426756505OWBUQRT9T_bOQ.webp

Spears/Pole-arms

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742667946g0cwK4VDeDmvjQ.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/174266794758RvGbdA5BIvKA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742667947JNfgBymoc-ytlQ.webp

Spears were a universal weapon, being one of the first and most used. It's no surprise then that they existed in Mesoamerica in many forms. Starting with the most basic, many different "normal" spears of made flint, chert or obsidian existed in the region. Sometimes being barbed or decorated with feathers, paint or cotton.

Tepoztopilli

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742674196VkmPzevIp7CLZQ.webp

Same story as the Macuahuitl^

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742674196mnjnalKx3d3_iw.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742674196cxr8B0AZWPXXCw.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742674196UsI4ct0XS8qH3g.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742674196_a5XtkAnjocceQ.webp

Next is the Tepoztopilli (Nahuatl name), famously used by the Aztecs (but also others) has sometimes been described as a halberd because of the emphasis on cutting. It was made in the same way as the Macuahuitl, just in a more spear-like form. And just like the sword, it is usually depicted having only a few large blades, sometimes, even without a point. But there was a richly painted example in the same museum as the Macuahuitl, which shows a different image of the weapon.

Serrated

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17426752265ljKV6hn2ty40g.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742675227iqUy8aRfgWfZNA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742675227qONRYES6t__HPg.webp

At first, I wasn't sure if I'd make a separate part for this weapon or put it with the Tepoztopilli, but it's different enough to have its own section. The spear was used in Oaxaca, by the Mixtecs - and often used shark teeth for blades, but likely also used flint, chert or obsidian, as well. As you'd expect, paint, feathers and cotton was added to show status.

Halberd

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742664613i9H2DVB6dcHHIw.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742664614Sn8lVe3OcK3nkA.webp

Speaking of the Macuahuitl, there was a pole-arm version, with limited representation. It's difficult to know details where it was really used, or if it even was used and not some stylized art, but it still looks pretty cool and close to a halberd. Again, decorative additions were made for those who could afford it.

Pike

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742664458mlZwPukPCa4XRA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742664458512CHewwLBJNnA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742664458x8NsF5EEjccpKw.webp

The Pipil of modern-day El Salvador were the kings of weird weapons. First, the spinning 'catapult', now these long pikes. Yet again, the process of making this is the same as the rest of these segmented blades.

——————————————————————————————

Knives

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742585552Vh3_q3cS4INJHQ.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/17425855538HPMyWHZi1nKWA.webp

Knives obviously weren't main battlefield weapons, but some theorize they could have been side-arms. They were made of obsidian or flint with a wooden - sometimes stone - handle. Knives were used ritually for sacrifice by everyone in Mesoamerica, so the handles were often adorned with paint, carvings and even mosaics of precious stone. The blade itself could also be decorated in various ways.

Armour

——————————————————————————————

Soft Body

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742663013Nw6rHvPWc6VaDg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/174266301318s-VUXk3MMFaA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742663013HwctFRt2QBEnGw.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742674196aBq2LRGHCyx6qg.webp

The most popular armour was the cotton vest similar to a European gambeson, called Ichcahuipilli in Nahuatl. It varied in size, pattern and colour (although, it was usually left undyed). The exact way it was made is disputed, but it's believed unspun cotton was tightly packed between two layers of cloth. Likely, if you were rich, the outside layers were also cotton, otherwise it was jute. It might have been soaked in a salt water brine to crystallize and harden, but this isn't universally accepted. The thickness is also debated, but a figure of 2-2,5 cm or more (about 0,8-1 inch) seems likely - coming from the description of 1 to 2 fingers thick (finger/mopilli was a measurement that converts to about 17.4 mm). All classes wore it for protection, but the nobles could afford thicker ones that could protect more of their body, with some covering the whole body. The Ichcahuipilli had two ways of being worn: being put on over the head like a t-shirt (closed-sewn), or worn like a vest with strings you'd have to tie together (open-sewn)

As mentioned earlier, the armour itself wasn't usually decorated. "Very uncharacteristic of the richer Mesoamericans" you might be thinking. Well, they used other coverings over the actual protection. The Tlahuiztli and Ehuatl (like always, the Nahuatl names) were painted colourfully and often to represent something, like animals or stars. The former was made of cotton and usually covered the whole body (also, open-sewn), while the latter had an outside layer of feathers, was rarer, and only enclosed the torso (closed-sewn). These garments were only given to the rich and to warriors who had proven themselves (captured an enemy, for instance), so that status could be easily identified by the designs of the covering.

The Shaft Tomb culture of Western Mesoamerica made ceramic figures depicting wooden or perhaps reed armour. Nothing of this covering has survived, so we can really only speculate about the details.

Metal

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742663440N0TkQwM4uZMZGg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742663440uTg3yx2GaN__Dg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742663948HdG4AfMBgem0Rg.webp

A type of chain mail was described as being used by the Aztecs. It was said to be made of silver and gold. Most experts consider it to have been decorative and to show off one's status. - but some theorize copper examples might have existed, and that it was indeed used protectively. The consensus (which I agree with) is that it was just for show. Arm and leg bands made of precious metals were also not too uncommon for the nobility.

Helmets

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742667750ID_zgD3Hl0pM7Q.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742667751WEIbnCIZw-oF7g.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742667751rmFfqKkv7uJUdQ.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742667751ZZ8oSzXXmqdCFg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742667751PigRALf-9wy6fQ.webp

Strangely, helmets were somewhat uncommon in the region, with most commoners in most armies not wearing one, and even many elites lacking headgear. This doesn't mean they weren't used, of course. Most helms were made of hardwood or possibly leather and decorated with pain and feathers, often representing animals or mythical beings. Most Aztec helmets complimented the Tlahuiztli. The headgear seemed mostly decorative rather than protective, but would have definitely helped the soldier stay alive longer.

——————————————————————————————

Shields

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742670783gJcl6zfmGOxn3g.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742670784bBvA6mxtDrlFNQ.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742670784qBC_V3pMIOBSuw.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742670785luRURjmXWI0rDg.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/174267078558ZyX3GA5aSx1A.webp

Shields could be made of wood, cane or bamboo. Conquistador descriptions of Aztec shields mention that they could be woven; such as woven cane with a cotton baking, or woven split bamboo with further bamboo reinforcing. Sometimes, they could even be rolled up to carry more easily. The Aztecs used quite large and round shields - covering the whole torso - but across Mesoamerica, the size differed, and the shape went from square to round to rectangular. They were routinely decorated with paint, feathers, cotton, beautiful designs retelling divine stories and precious metals and stones.

Here he can be seen mocking the victims he killed with his friends becuz simply they all believed that..they were their "slaves" nd that after death... they would serve them

●Then, in 2003 sadists who abused animals were never found.. . they were not immediately found in 2007 when a wave of murders unprecedented in brutality swept through Dnipropetrovsk, Dniprodzerzhinsk and Novomoskivsk. Victims were smashed heads with a hammer, eyes poked out, ears cut off while they were still alive....

   Again , animal abuse..

:marseystar: THE BEGINING OF THE CRIMES :marseystar:

     The 1st victim :

June 25, 2007 Dnipropetrovsk police on duty received a call. In the residential area "Communar" the body of a young woman was found.

Anya didn't expect to stay at Katya Ilchenko's house for so long. Girlfriends drank tea and chatted when Anya noticed that she had been on the clock for almost 12 nights and was picking up to leave.

Katya volunteered to see her off , she didn't com bac , Katie's mom feeling a wrong start to her but Katie's phone stayed home.

¤Then a woman went outside nd just 20 meters from the house came across a corpse {it's the daughter's corpse}.... Katya's head was smashed with a hammer , as will be confirmed later by sum experts.... Katya have been dead for several hours. :marseydeadpooner:

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742347201qduKqAfK2Eh04Q.webp the police that arrived later determined that Katya had not been raped .

Katya Ilchenko, the first victim of Dnipropetrovsk maniacs....

   The 2nd victim :

☆The murder for the purpose of robbery was not confirmed, the operatives still examined the crime scene when a new call came in – a 5-minute walk near the parking guard who found another man unconscious.

When Police arrived at the scene and it was clear the man was dead.It was 34-year-old Roman Tatarevich. He was also killed by multiple blows to the head with a heavy object

Serial killings in Dnipropetrovsk are extremely rare....Then these two murders were not tied between themselves , becuz Katya was killed with a hammer, and Roman with a fixture https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742347201BVJ-3wgx24gHxg.webp There was nothing on his behalf left but a piece of tis fixture stuck in his skull when a month later..he+ got married and his girlfriend was pregnant.

Investigating these murders immediately stated that there were no witnesses, and the service dogs 🐕‍🦺did not take a trace...

However, it is better to have such a information than no information at all !!

Not a single crime witness was found ! although according to the investigator, this simply could not have happened

If Roman's murder near garages could really pass without witnesses , then Katya was killed almost under the windows of her house....Let this fact remain on the conscience of Katya's neighbors :marseysquint:

   The 3rd victim :

July 2007; Yegor Nechvoloda... late at night ... coming bac from the nightclub , He was killed at the door of his apartment, tho the 1st strike was not fatal !, but Yegor was completely disfigured by his face ....; his head turned into a mash , nd the blood nd brains were on the door, on the floor and On the stairs...

:marseyitsnuts: AFTERMATH OF YEGOR :marseyitsover:

Police were called becuz of the noise in the entrance ; It was Yegor's mother screaming, she first found her son's corpse.

Egor was 21yo he had just returned from the Army... it was the 1st time he went to a club.

 The 4th victim :

The next night .. she was killed.... Alena Shram; she worked in a day shift, at night she asked to leave from work because she felt sick.

She was killed just like that justttt like the previous victims after she left her workplace...Her head was shattered and her face disfigured.

《Everyone was surprised by these crimes, but the victims were killed in a completely different circumstances》

Becuz in Alena's case, we were leaning towards the version that it's a domestic crime , while in Egor's case it may have been an attempted robbery. :marseyhmmhips:

Catherine's Murders Ilchenko, Romana Tatarevich,Egor Nevoloda nd Alena Shram were all engaged in different Investigative teams in which the city has introduced an increase of patrols.

Until 2007 Dnepropetrovsk was a quiet city, not that there were no murders (Lol) but ppl were still afraid to even going to the store ..

    Anyway

Unpleasant rumors have spread around the city that murders are taking place, and the police are doing nothing (as always :marseyunamused:)

    However

these rumors were soon confirmed on the Internet where a video appeared suddenly which brutally amazed everyone ....From the beginning until the last breath, the victim was captured on video. This video file has been called "3 Guys 1 Hammer" which all of u guys has seen it or even just heard of it , BUT it's fine , imma put it again so u watch it again :)

     The victim:

Sergei's fate is amazing rlly he was twice on the verge of life and death, he was struck by lightning once, but he survived.. But fate ordered so that he met sadists and killers. He was just driving on a bike past, but found himself at the wrong time and in the wrong place.

□He was dying slowly and excruciatingly, and the killers laughed at the camera and filmed the video.

●Before the information found itself on the Internet , the city administration tried to disguise these crimes as dmestic homicides or traffic accidents .

:marseystar: WHAT HAPPENED AFTER ?? :marseystar:

○Such explanations did not suit the police leadership and they began to take a closer look at the investigative actions of their employees.

♤Investigators interviewed street vendors and criminal elements; but no one knew about the killings, which was strange enough :marseysquint:

However, the number of victims were increasing

   Another victim

https://media.tenor.com/jmiZ4AXO_DoAAAAx/here-we-go-again-gta.webp

On the streets ...Kommunarovsky.... The corpse of a man with the same characteristic injuries was found dead ... The victim could not be identified. The victim's ears were cut off , nd gouged out his eyes .

♡First, becuz the victim was physically strong , the killer hit him in the head and then brutally tortured him after .

♧The investigation immediately suspected the cause was not robbery becuz the man aka the victim was not wealthy.

《The task was complicated by the fact that the killings took place in different areas of Ukraine , criminals could kill a man within the city limits, and a few hrs later commit a similar crime in the suburbs :marseycontemplate:

☆Well ... still.. after all this ladies nd gentlemen...the investigation stubbornly did not want to declare serial killings becuz the victims "Strangely" didnt unite anything but wat we all knew is that the ppl were hella scared .

:marseystar: UH MORE DETAILS THAT U PROBABLY DIDNT NEED TO KNOW BUT MEH :#marseyliathomas: :marseystar:

●According to eyewitnesses those events in the evening in Dnipropetrovsk could be met by a man armed with hunting rifle nd it didn't seem strange....(well it seemed pretty strange to me cuz im the alpha beta sigma millionaire :marseymog:) shit all jokes aside bruh :marseyuterus: It was the husbands who met their wives when they came back from work late....

▪︎▪︎Sometimes it came to the point that hunters wore guns in the open and charged em even though it's forbidden in Ukrainian law; the popo (police) were sympathetic, but at least they checked the presence of weapons ..

:marseystar: CONCLUSION HEH JOKES ON U CUZ M NOT DONE YET :marseystar:

◇Having studied the case materials, the investigation concluded that all of the killings were related .

●Almost all of the victims were poor ppl and the only thing that united them was the particular cruel murder ...

♡It became sooooooooo clear as the sun 🌞 (wat a shit sun emoji ) that criminals are young ppl and act without self-serving motives. Handwriting the crimes tho were the same in all cases since the perpetrators acted on the same scenario 🌱🌻🍃

●Ambush criminals sneaked up on the victims, struck em with a hammer 🔨; fixture or iron pipe, and then they hit em in the head.

■Policemen aka popo , at last have been given the necessary resources to investigate these crimes, as financial and personnel alike. (i mean wat do u expect from popo to do man absolutely nothing they just snack on donuts all day until they get obese) 🚔🚔

https://media.tenor.com/mxgMVididA8AAAAx/do-you-have-any-pie-police.webp

:marseystar: HMMMMM HOW DID THE VIDEO REACH THE AUTHORITIES? :marseystar:

¤Well the investigation was able to establish the IP address from which the video "3 Guys 1 Hammer" was uploaded. THE IP belonged to an internet cafe. There is nothing easier than drinking a cup of coffee ☕️ and uploading videos from a public place phahahaha wat a stupid killer man 🐔

Well×10 the Administrators of the Internet cafés changed so often so that these investigators could nevah get the necessary information.. yk they don wanna end up homeless nd shi 🐩🐩

:marseystar: HOLY SHIT !!!! THIS POST DIDNT FINISH YET ??? WHEN IS SHE GONNA FINISH IT MY EYES HURT READING THIS!!! :marseystar:

....OK OK just stop whining bro dam u hurt my ears cheesus 🧀 christ 🪳🪳 I'm bout to finish soon just yeah bare with me please im also so eepy ....💔💔

Well×11 I'm bout to bring in a new guest now

Everyone welcome the Senior investigator 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 Egor Romansky

Egor once said : " As such, there was no case..

there have been a number of horrific deaths nd there was this video, but no more...All the work was done intuitively when you realize that something is rong, but you can't say anything... Apparently, thanks to intuition, we were able to identify the criminals "

■■Again clap for him actually dont clap it's gay ■■

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742347202uZVJoEEuiHEHsA.webp

This is him , our wise investigator Egor Romansky

:marseystar: EVEN MORE VICTIMS :marseystar: :#marseybuff:

■ At the end of July, the bodies of a man and a woman with similar injuries have been found. Once again criminals used fixtures or something like that...Becuz next to the corpses ; nothing of the sort was found, the investigators concluded that criminals carry with them the tools of crime..

●The victims again had absolutely 💯 nothing in common... the man had previously been seen as a homeless man and the female employee was his small company...

The man was hit with the fixture in the neck nd the constant blowing on his head literally nailed it to the ground...

Tho the woman after the usual blows to the head, stuck the fixture between the ribs and turned several times ..

The woman was still alive, when her bones broke.

However, this was not the case with the latest unpleasant surprises for the Dnipropetrovsk police

:marseystar: I PROMISE THIS IS THE LAST MURDER CASE :marseystar:

In a wooded area near the village of Dievka, bystanders found 2 more men bodies with broken heads.. More precisely, what's left of them.

Well ima do a quick sum up cuz my hands are tired fr

As sum of u will ask ... why couldn't the 2 men fend off the attackers ???

Well the men were in a state of strong alcoholic Intoxication {that's wat the forensic examination said not me}

♤Not one victim has yet managed to get away from criminals nd the maniacs.... still didnt leave any witnesses.

:marseystar: I STILL HAVE ANOTHER CASE OF 2 TEENAGERS BUT ITS THE SAME SCINARIO SRSLY :marseystar:

But I'm gona give off a brief sum up to it

2 teens who were riding a bike , basically one of em died nd the other survived nd reported the incident to the popo ; at first they didn't believe him but when he gave em the description of the attackers he said that one of em had a Swastika :marseyswastika: tattoo on his wrist , so the kid was taken under security afterwards...

This was his testimony : *"I was hit on the shoulder with a mount, and i broke ...I shout "Let's go to the woods" I look, nd it's already mounting."

Well×12 since the attackers were described as young guys the popo immediatly went to search for em in sculs but didn't find anything...

What was particularly shocking was that the man who held the camera nd filmed the 2 teens was laughing

Btw the teen who survived was Vadim Lyakhov

Over the next 2 years ... 6 more ppl were slaughtered 🔪

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742347203q1v7DbpeSbCnDw.webp

I'm gona jump to the aftermath even tho i still have another murder case it just never ends :marseybrainlet:

:marseystar: OWH I FORGOT TO TALK BOUT THE "FAKE MANIACS"!!! :marseystar:

If u dont know wat the fake maniacs are well... they are 2 guys (teens) prob minors , i mean their faces clearly show dat they are kids , wat they did was basically .... they were inspired by the real maniacs to commit a killing spree of their own , {u can say they copied em for attention ☠️☠️} these kids were nicknamed "The Academy Maniacs" , (but i call em the fake maniacs becuz yeah idk why)

     anywayyyyyyy

《《《《《they killed 6 ppl nd attempted to kill 9 others during a 5-month span in 2010 and 2011 in Irkutsk, Russia ▪︎▪︎▪︎somehow makes total sense that theyre russian :marseyputin: ▪︎▪︎▪︎On April 2, 2013; Anoufriev OW I FORGOT TO SAY THAT THEIR NAMES WERE ARTYOUM ANOUFRIEV and ☠️ NIKITA LYTKIN

     LYTKIN (left) ; ANOUFRIEV (right)

《《《Well , ANOUFRIEV was sentenced to life in prison; while NIKITA was sentenced to 24 yrs, for the murders. ¤¤ 》》》》》》

:marseystar:OMG FINALLY THE AFTERMATH:marseystar:

□Exactly at noon on the remote the security of the Leninsky district of the city of Dnipropetrovsk triggered an alarm button the security guard pressed the button, but not because of the attack.

□The guard knew that the criminal with a Swastika tattoo on his arm is wanted. So the guy went into the pawnshop, the shop where the security guard worked ...the pawnshop was accepted for selling used phones...

■When the op group arrived but the guy's already gone. Policemen were interested in one phone so they bought it ...

□Experts carefully examined this phone ,but all contacts have been removed .. All that's left is the disgusting video where Sergei Yatsenko was killed and the pics of the dogs nd other animals he tortured .

   Conclusion

□The prosecutor's office issued a warrant for the arrest of the suspect. It turned out to be Igor Suprunyuk ;it was on his arm was tattooed with swastika and he brought a cell phone to the pawnshop.

 Igor Suprunyuk capture video

The operatives were able to identify the 2nd suspect. It turned out to be a friend of Igor Suprunyuk ....Victor Saenko

 Victor Saenko capture video

After his detention, Viktor Saenko behaved calmly and confidently , becuz his father was a district prosecutor ...

Igor Supryuk on the other hand, was visibly nervous, becuz he did not have a high-ranking father ...

Igor Supryuk and Viktor Saenko immediately pointed to the 3rd member of the party I mean ...the group lol – Alexander Hanzha

Nd here they are ...All 3 former classmates

 Alexander Hanzha capture video

Immediately after the arrests, searches were carried out in their homes and in **Saenko'**s garage, where they found bloodied clothes, the belongings of the victims, an iron pipe nd a hammer with traces ; also computers containing video recordings of the killings with lists of all the victims.

○Well×13 the popo 🚓🚔 had no doubt that the trio was to blame for the crimes. However, due to lack of direct evidence the criminals could escape punishment.

●Yes they filmed the murder on video, but not every video can serve as evidence in court bruh×2 🦍

♧Then investigators began shaking all the suspects they knew until they came to K., another close friend of Victor Saenko.

◇However, most of the murders were filmed by Hanzha (sounds like a japanese name somehow lmao) nd his laughter can be heard behind-the-scenes.

:marseystar: UH ...ANOTHER AFTERMATH I GUESS?? :marseystar:

:marseystar: AHEM ANOTHER INFO BECUZ I HAVE NOTHING TO DO IN MY LOIFE 👽👽:marseystar:

What did the psychiatrists say ????

Welp×14 , immediately after the detention, a psychiatric examination was carried out, which recognized all 3 are sane nd safe nd sound nd reporting in their actions 🎬 (ok i exaggerated a bit)

   BUT !

Forensic psychologist Yuri Irhin SAID :

"When communicating with them there was a feeling that they were dismissive of their parents, especially mothers....it is neglect, not hatred...they had stingy, indifferent reaction to something they very much traumatized their parents with ..

:marseystar: OMG ARE WE DONE YET ? :marseystar:

  Haha no

Fatal Shooting of Matthew Wong - 27 February 2025

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742826238PuDAHwHejRNCjA.webp

Salem, Oregon, USA

https://www.salemreporter.com/2025/03/22/trooper-justified-in-deadly-shooting-of-man-near-salem-airport-grand-jury-finds/

A state trooper was justified in shooting and killing a mentally ill man who charged him with a knife before walking toward a busy road near the Salem airport last month, a Marion County grand jury concluded.

Matthew W. Wong, 22, died after the trooper shot him twice on Feb. 27 outside the National Guard Air Station off Turner Road, according to a Friday news release from the office of Marion County District Attorney Paige Clarkson.

Grand jurors heard testimony from six witnesses including the Salem Police Department, which led the investigation. They also reviewed evidence including videos, photographs, scene diagrams and autopsy conclusions.

The news release included an edited version of footage captured by Oregon State Police Trooper Justin Oxenrider's body-worn camera.

The body camera video shows Wong lunge at Oxenrider while armed with a knife. The trooper twice tried to use a Taser against Wong but was unsuccessful, according to the statement.

Seconds later, the video shows Oxenrider shoot Wong twice from behind as he walks away from the trooper with the knife in hand.

Two bullets struck Wong, one entering his right arm and the other his back, according to the statement. Both bullets went through his chest.

The grand jury concluded that "all reasonable alternatives, such as verbal de-escalation, waiting, or using other available techniques or resources weren't feasible as Senior Trooper Oxenrider had provided Wong with verbal and visual warnings, attempted less-than-lethal tools unsuccessfully twice, and provided him with a reasonable opportunity to comply," according to the statement.

"It is tragic that Mr. Wong was experiencing mental health struggles, and this case highlights the dangerous outcomes for our neighbors, our law enforcement officers and our community when such issues go unaddressed," Marion County District Attorney Paige Clarkson wrote in the statement. "Senior Trooper Oxenrider was faced with an untenable situation not of his own creation. I know that no one wanted this outcome on that day."

The district attorney's office gave an account of the shooting.

State police received a call reporting attempted robbery at the guard station around 10 a.m. on Feb. 27.

The district attorney's office previously said Wong had slipped a threatening note to a guard outside the National Guard Air Station in southeast Salem February 27 before Oxenrider responded to the scene.

A picture of the note included in the statement Friday showed it included a threat to "kill everybody at this house," unless they surrendered every weapon, placed it in a vehicle and left it running outside of the facility. The note said the recipient had 10 minutes to decide.

Wong was sitting on a bench at the facility when Oxenrider stepped out of his vehicle, the video showed. The officer tried to stop Wong from leaving by stepping in front of him and asked Wong to remove his hands from his pockets.

The trooper twice tried to use a Taser but did not hit Wong, "exhausting the tool," according to the statement. Wong then charged him with a knife.

Video appears to show the trooper drop the Taser as the two are engaged in a brief physical struggle.

The officer several times shouted at Wong to put the knife down.

Wong then turned around and walked toward an area of Turner Road, which has "multiple businesses, and is a busy, well-traveled thoroughfare," prosecutors said in the statement. "Furthermore, the location often has pedestrians walking or riding bikes on the sidewalks. There is also a homeless camp near the guard station, and numerous individuals regularly come and go from that location."

Oxenrider testified before the grand jury that he was not going to let Wong leave the area "because he believed that Wong was a threat to anyone in the immediate area and for the public at large," according to the statement. "He testified that he saw Wong turn back in his direction with the knife in his hand in what he felt was an aggressive manner. "

Video shows Wong continuing to walk away from Oxenrider when the officer twice shot him from behind. Oxenrider shot Wong less than 40 seconds after exiting his vehicle at the scene, according to the footage.

Wong died from his injuries at the scene.

At the time of the shooting Wong had an active warrant for his arrest related to a criminal charge for unlawful use of a weapon. Wong had been arrested twice but not convicted.

The Salem Police Department led the investigation into the shooting due to a Marion County policy which requires a police agency not involved in a fatal police shooting to investigate it.

https://www.statesmanjournal.com/story/news/crime/2025/03/21/oregon-trooper-justin-oxenrider-justified-shooting-of-matthew-walter-wong/82602013007/

Oxenrider has been with OSP for 18 years, according to the news release. Police said Oxenrider is a K9 Trooper, and his K9 was in his vehicle at the time of the incident.

According to a report from The Oregonian, Oxenrider was involved in a fatal shooting of a St. Helens man after a high-speed chase near Scappoose in 2013. He was found to be justified in that shooting.

https://www.kptv.com/2025/03/22/jury-finds-osp-officer-who-shot-killed-man-salem-airport-was-justified/

Oxenrider first picked up the knife and tossed it away from Wong "to make the scene safe," according to the DA's office. Then Oxenrider and EMTs gave Wong first aid, but he was declared dead at the scene.

The autopsy found that Wong had been hit in the back and on his right side, but the DA's office said the medical examiner did not know which bullet had hit Wong first.

According to the DA's office, the grand jury found that "all reasonable alternatives, such as verbal de-escalation, waiting, or using other available techniques or resources weren't feasible" as Oxenrider had provided Wong with "verbal and visual warnings, attempted less-than-lethal tools unsuccessfully twice, and provided him with a reasonable opportunity to comply."

Mass Shooting During a Car Meet Up - Las Cruces, USA - March 21st, 2025

Three people were killed and 14 others injured in a mass shooting on Friday in the US state of New Mexico, according to local authorities.

Gabriel Rickman was suspected to be the shooter, but instead he turned out to be just another retard that brought a gun to the meet up and flaunted it around.

https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742668573UiG3KrQdnny2xQ.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742668573PrkC16jenpGNMA.webp https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1742668573o8ZF0metgSufuw.webp

The shooting took place at a park in the city of Las Cruces, about 22:00 local time, the Las Cruces police posted on social media.

They had not made any arrests as of Saturday morning but were "actively following multiple leads".

In a public call for witnesses and video, the department said the shooting took place at a "car meet up" and "concluded with multiple gunshots fired and several individuals being struck".

Two 19-year-old men and one 16-year-old boy died in the shooting, police said.

Those injured in the shooting ranged from ages 16 to 36. Authorities have not yet named any of the victims.

Police responded to reports of gunfire and potential gunshot victims near the parking lot at about 22:00.

The New York Times reported that the event was a monthly gathering for modified sports car enthusiasts.
