In my country a dog without harness in public spaces is a crime and the owner get 3 to 9 months to jail. If the dog attacks someone the sentence will be between 1 to 3 years........ if the dog cause death the sentence will be 12 or more years in prison for the owner.

I am not sure why people think they are entitled to leave their dog off leash in a public park.

I was a horse owner until the cost of living became so high I had to sell out. That being said I was rooting for that draft horse all the way. That horse would have killed that dog, and that last shot that horse got in rattled that dudes brains. I'd say the owner is probably in big trouble. The carriage owner I know for sure has a case to pursue. I wouldn't be surprised if the didn't put that dog down. Not a fan of pit bulls.

Pit bulls are so shitty. I love dogs but I just can’t consider that breed as domesticated. Put ‘em down at shelters to reserve resources for actual housepets and make them illegal or at least difficult and expensive to own like other dangerous/exotic animals. It wouldn’t eliminate the breed, people are always going to find ways around the law, but there are just waaaay too many of them.

Pitbulls are not for beginning pet owners..It's unfortunate that the people in this video did not train this dog correctly. This situation was so poorly handled and just gives a worse reputation to a breed that can be a very well behaved companion.
