New Delhi:

A 42-year-old man was killed in an attack by a stray bull in south Delhi's Tigri area here on Friday morning, police said.

Footage from a CCTV camera showed the animal goring Subhash Kumar Jha, a resident of Khanpur, police said.

The people standing nearby tried to save Mr Jha by trying to hit the bull with sticks, the video showed.

The incident took place near Jaspal Mart in Devli Mor at about 11.45 am, a police officer said.

The victim was taken to Batra Hospital where he succumbed during treatment, he said.

His body was handed over to his family after the post-mortem examination, police said.

The officer said that they have relayed the information to the municipal corporation.

He also said that the problem of stray animals is common in the locality.

What started as a fun show ended in tragedy after a rider was crushed by a huge bull in a rodeo show presented in this municipality.

The accident took place in the Plaza de Toros of Atoyac, after a group of riders from Tepic, Nayarit, showed up to work in the Plaza de Toros, but unfortunately an unfortunate accident occurred.

Investigating police officers went to the Regional Hospital of Zapotlán El Grande where a male was admitted after he had suffered an accident, after a bull trampled him on several occasions, confirming his death at the hospital.

The event in which the team of riders participated, took place on Saturday night, mentioning his companions that at the moment of falling from the bull, the bull began to trample him, they immediately helped him and later transferred him to receive medical attention.

18 year old Jose Ernestor da Silva has died after a shark ripped off his penis and part of his leg as he swam in the sea in Brazil.

Jose Ernestor da Silva was attacked while bathing in waters off the Piedade beach near Recife, on Brazil's north-east coast.

The shark struck just as lifeguards stationed on the beach had told the 18-year-old to come closer to the shore, according to reports.

A shocking video taken by a passer-by shows the moment other holidaymakers pulled Jose from the sea before emergency crews arrived.

In the footage locals try to stem the blood by tying garments around the wound, while others can be heard telling the clearly stunned teenager to “breathe”.

An ambulance rushed Jose to hospital, where he tragically died despite doctors' efforts to save him.

Peter Barrientos (31), was rammed by one of the horses participating in the competition in the district of Acraquia in Huancavelica and died while being treated at the hospital in Pampas.

The victim, coming from the district of San Pedro de Coris, province of Churcampa, entered the track in an apparent state of drunkenness and was violently rammed by one of these animals. Before the astonished gaze of the public, the event organizers requested the presence of an ambulance, which arrived minutes later.

Acraquia's health personnel quickly attended to the victim, who, due to the seriousness of his facial injury, was transferred to the hospital in Pampas, where he died.
