A 20-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend inside the supermarket where she worked, in Montes Claros (MG), last Friday (17/1). The killer was arrested by the Military Police of Minas Gerais (PMMG) shortly after the crime.
The attack was recorded on the supermarket's security cameras. The video shows the perpetrator chasing the victim, identified as Zélia Marielle Rodrigues ( pictured below ). The woman falls, and the ex stabs her with a machete at least four times.
Some witnesses told the military police that the man approached the victim at the supermarket checkout. She tried to run away from him, but was caught.
Soon after, the killer was arrested by the PMMG. The machete, the cell phone and the replica pistol were seized.

A man identified as Daniel Henrique Rodrigues da Silva, 24, died after being stabbed during a fight in Araguaína, Tocantins state, Brazil, in the early hours of this Sunday (19).
According to the police, Daniel was in a car driven by his brother, when, as he passed near a square where a party was taking place, someone knocked on the vehicle's window. Daniel reportedly got out of the car and asked who had knocked on the window. Soon after, Daniel and a man started arguing and then got into a physical fight.
At that moment, the suspect allegedly took a pocketknife and stabbed Daniel in the leg. Daniel's brother, who allegedly tried to break up the fight, was also hit and suffered injuries to two fingers on his right hand. According to the police, Daniel and his brother were rescued and taken to the Araguaína Regional Hospital (HRA). The brother was discharged, but Daniel did not survive his injuries.
