there's so many electrocution videos on here, are they all just that stupid? Or is it just a really dangerous job?

It is dangerous, but I think the greatest problem in these countries (looks like vietnam in this video?) is the lack of safe working conditions and proper training

It CAN* be that dangerous.

The bulk of these videos come out of shit countries with no/minimum laws/codes or enforcement; and its usually people with no understanding or respect for what they're working with or risk assessment/mitigation as a whole.

High voltage high amperage stuff is wild.
