It's a residual behavior from nursery school when the teacher nanny would make us clap on each silable and make us repeat the words she said so we would learn proper pro-nun-ci-a-tion and to keep our baby minds and bodies engaged. Of course this nibbas never progressed mentally from nursery school, so they still use this method of speaking and to keep themselves focused on the words they're saying.
