Well, someone has to step up, this guy is doing his job, and tomorrow, or even moments after this he will go on on to the next one. Maybe you would be more satisfied if he was more somber, took a moment to cry, read a Bible passage or some shit. But this fucking guy, heβs out there doing shit that needs to be done, someone was potential murderedβ¦ heβs taking a dark, morbid, fucking brutal killing of a teenager, and doing the best with what he has to keep going. To bring Justice for the family, to record the process and let anyone who might one day stand in the jury on a criminal case know what they are seeing.
Imagine you are on a jury, and this video is shown with no dialogue and the perpetrators lawyer says, this looks like a healthy stomach to me, if the autopsy had shown anything wrong they would have taken the time to mention it then, not just keep slicing wordlessly. Or imagine the opposite, the forensic investigator is crying, the criminal defense attorney will bring him to the stand and ask why is he crying when heβs done this hundreds of times before? Does he cry at every autopsy? Is this man exaggerating because he cannot control his emotions? Did this woman die of natural causes and this man canβt keep it together and is exaggerating a natural death?
He kept it cold, cool and factual. He described the signs of poisoning as he is doing the autopsy live. He might even have saved himself a day in court, because he is calm, cool and collected, just the facts.
Any decent defense lawyer would ask why he kept cutting and didnβt take time to mention what he saw, if the stomach shows signs of poisoning, why not mention it and just keep wordlessly cutting? Maybe the signs of poisoning were negligible, and she had stomach ulcers, or a poor diet? Why wait until after the autopsy if this was the cause of death?
