If I remember correctly Gary only ended up getting like 100 hours community service, not bad for murdering somebody when police officers are present and the whole thing was caught on video. Guess the judge felt the same way as u. ;)

W judge. He even said sending him to prison would not help anyone, and was absolutely certain he wouldn't be a risk to other people. He gave him 300 hours of community service, 7 year suspended sentence (no prison unless another crime is committed) and 5 years of probation. He completed it all in 1989 and lived peacefully until 2014 when he died from a stroke.
