He should've taken the plea deal, serve the 5 years and stepped away from his position. Instead, he went to trial and presented no legal defense on the basis that the prosecution had no real legitimate evidence. Fuckin idiot, 100%. Ate the bullet because he was a major fuck up. Good riddance. People like him don't deserve to be in positions of power and influence. If only more today would do the same. Shame that evil politicians and elected officials don't get prosecuted as harshly today as they used to. Would love to see more political content on this site.
