This should be shown to every parent who's doubted their children's suicidal thoughts. The fact the father gave him a gun probably saying something along the lines of “you wanna kill yourself? HERE do it” and guess what piece of shit father. HE DID IT, and the dad fucking slaps him then has a 2 year old meltdown on the floor acting as if it was not his fault that his son shot him self, if you're child is talking suicidal you do not hand them a weapon you don't tempt them and edge them on, you get them fucking help. So many teenagers and young adults are committing suicide because the parents and the system has failed them, stop doubting depression and mental health issues because one day you will lose the person you doubted for so long.

For me, this is also a good lesson as to why you don't dare people when they're already at the brink of collapse. I always hate it when I see a movie where someone says 'go on, shoot me', and it works as a method of saving their life. No, moron, this will only get you killed faster in real life. Yeah this is a pretty old vid. I've seen it a bunch of times. There's never a time I see it that I don't blame the old man. If there is ever something to not call a bluff on it is a person threatening to kill themselves. Horrible death that could have been 100% prevented.

This happened in Thailand back in 2015. The son was 21 years old living with his parents. News story stated that the dad, a traffic cop, was angry at the son for playing video games and not helping close their family-owned convenience store. The dad came back from work and his son playing video games instead of helping close the store. He berated his son, using what I would say… extreme language. The father then challenged the son to shoot him (the dad), pulling out and chambering his 9mm handgun. Instead, the son chose to end his life, most likely tired of his family’s bullshit.

The son was most likely depressed. Thais usually go to college or go out to find jobs and live independently when they turn 18. Instead, he’s 21 and stuck in his parents’ house/convenience store, getting berated every day for playing video games.
