I kind of agree, the driving is very rewarding if you know how to control it (most people never learned). But some cars have way too much body-roll. GTA IV makes it seem like almost everything rides like the cars from the "land-yacht", "malaise era" of American automobiles. Still, it's better than GTA V and it's F1-esque handling for nearly everything.

What's a parachute roll? Are you referring to the way people skydiving and base jumping deal with a hard landing, by landing on their feet but then immediately tucking and rolling with the momentum? Just curious, although like you said he may have survived if he had done that, but he sure as hell wouldn't be going anywhere after he stopped rolling. Even landing perfectly, I can't imagine the injuries you would suffer jumping out of a car going that fast onto a road surface...

That's the part that always gets me too. If you are running from the police and something happens that disables your car, it's over for you. I don't think I've ever seen someone escape from the police on foot after bailing out of a car, short of sprinting directly into a stadium or parking garage to change clothes and blend into the crowd. I mean I get it, if you're in that situation running from the police then you obviously know that you're going to be spending years in jail if you get caught, so why not try your luck at running away on foot? But you would only have a minute or so of running before you got too tired to continue, which wouldn't be an issue for the police up ahead waiting for you. And even if you did manage to get away on foot after ditching your car, the police would just take a look at the license plate and show up at his house the next day unless he was driving a stolen car. If you are in a stolen car, its literally the opposite situation where there wouldn't be a single reason NOT to run.
