A therapist or psychiatrist can help you understand why you feel the way you do.. they can help you understand how and what to do in order to make your life better and happier. You may not think so.. but they can! They go to school for 6+ years FOR A REASON!!! Of course they do it for money, we ALL NEED MONEY TO SURVIVE! But also, aside from the money.. they do it because THEY WANT TO HELP PEOPLE. THEY WANT TO HELP THAT (EVEN IF IT IS ONE) PERSON TO NOT COMMIT SUICIDE OR HOMICIDE. I can tell you for a fact it is.
How could you possibly look at all of the bad you have endured, to then conclude that the most rational decision would be to just die. That’s like eating some bad food at a restaurant then thinking “you know what, now I’m going to go and eat human shit because of that” - where is the rationality in performing the most horrible act on yourself? To stop the pain? Stand strong against it, don’t be weak. Stopping all pain, but simultaneously also cutting away every chance at a betterment to life, every happy emotion too, it’s nonsensical. Another restaurant example for this one; if you eat bad food at one, you don’t just never go to a restaurant again, rather, you keep going to other restaurants, until you finally get some good food, you remember the better restaurants, and not eat bad food again. Same goes with life, you find the right way about it, and never go back to the areas that hurt you.
Your life will end one day, sooner or later, but does that mean you should cut it short? Definitely not. That would be like finding out that an ice cream will eventually melt away, you don’t throw it into the bin, you enjoy every last bit of it.

It’s irrational to believe that every single event is “poisoned” per say. It would also be irrational to just stop eating, and you are really trying to bend the metaphor with that one. The point I was conveying here really doesn’t require such a complex analogy. The point is much more simple, you seek out the good in life, and avoid the bad, I formed a metaphor just to help convey this idea in a simple way. Truth is, the weak in this world get weeded out, chucked away, made to mentally starve, they fall into the trap of a depressive state, which waters down the good, and makes it seem as though life is only formed of the bad. If you truly want change, and truly hate the state that you are within, the life you now live, you can take one of two approaches to such; 1) Give in, don’t put up any fight at all, go out like hopeless prey. 2) Fight and build up a defensive mentality, reach the point in life that you dream of. How do you put up such a fight? You firstly make change. If everyday feels like shite, then change is clearly required. Just as if you have a car which breaks down almost every day, you shouldn’t keep driving it over and over, you should get it serviced and fixed - and most definitely not just end it all, and ditch it on the side of the road. The change is something in which I can’t really define to you, I don’t know your situation, you can tell me if you’d like, but it’s yourself that holds the knowledge over such. Now it may not work at first, and you will struggle, let’s say you don’t have the money to fix your car, you try to fix it yourself, it might not work, so you try something new, again and again, eventually, if you do the right things, it will be fixed. This represents that it may not be as easy to make change in life than as is for others, and there is a lot of trial and error involved, but given a chance at fixing your life up, why not take it? Anyone who is truly desperate for a betterment to life should not, by all accounts of rationality and logic, give up this chance. As I say, the weak give in, the strong fight. Nobody is bound by this weakness, and everybody can grow to a level of mental strength. Some absolutely have it harder than others, but what good would a life without a great challenge be? I for one can say that projects in which require a tonne of effort feel so much more accomplishing once complete. Keep struggling on, I promise you’ll get your car fixed, and if not, we’ll at least you went out with a fight, at least you went out trying. Think it’s impossible, I’ll tell you it as simple as could be, from my own personal experience - it’s not. It’s very tough, very difficult, but if you want it enough, you’ll get there.

Google free mental health help I did that and we have in my area it's called MHMR mental health mental retardation. I called and made an appointment for my son who's bipolar schizophrenic in an attic. They never charge us I finally got him to go he gets a shot once a month instead of the pills everyday because he would stop taking them after a few days. Ask around Google call charities call the hospital people just don't know that there are places to help there aren't many there may be only one in your area but I bet you can find one. They treat my silent gold he loves every single one of them they're really beautiful people and they're really just there to help. His medications are free everything is free reach out talk to someone tell your friends maybe they can help you search for this place but every city or area has one don't give up keep looking

So, this isn't new for me. I've been struggling to stay alive for 20 years now, and will struggle until I finally die. My case is "so severe" that, according to the free place, "there aren't enough resources to treat you; however, if you had private insurance or even medicaid, we could set you up with an appointment. Otherwise, I have to hope you don't slip through the cracks of our broken system, and I'm so sorry. " It burned into my head because it was the closest I got to getting help. Anyway, after a couple years of begging, I tried killing myself with Tylenol and ibuprofen, making it look natural. I went in for a tooth, and they caught the extreme levels and held me until it went down. They put me on suicide watch, had my ride leave me, and took my stuff away. Mental services showed up, evaluated me, and sent me home(after they sent my ride home) because it was the same free place that couldn't afford to treat me. They did get my information in case they could help one day. Eventually they called and set an appointment to come see me at my house because I'm agoraphobic and don't leave often. They never showed up. Days later we called, and they said, "Oh, sorry, it was the weather, and I left your number at the office and haven't been back yet." Then we scheduled an apointment for the next Wednesday. No call, no show again. I tried calling, and they said sorry, we don't have the resources to treat you, and they never spoke to me again. I've been fighting this fight, using up the resources of the one person trying to help me, whos killing themselves to try helping me. Nothing but a burden.
Nobody who can help will; nobody who wants to help can. It's unfortunate, but theres not enough help for everyone. And even if I could finally get help at this point, it's not just mental health; I'm physically ill and can barely breathe, I think because of the mold and dust I live in. I have begged everyone who would listen for the last seven years.
My body is weak and sick.
My brain is messed up and sick.
I have no money to pay medical bills, and the free places can't treat me because they don't have money either.
I live in an apartment thats literally got mold all over my bathroom; my kitchen sheetrock is separating like the back of the apartment is falling off; my sink is moldy and the cabinets are rotting; the sewer backs up into the pantry; the fridge is bad; the doors are falling off the frames because of rotting wood everywhere; I could go on forever about this lead paint and asbestos sheetrock cesspool I'm stuck in.
I could go on and on about all of the bad things in my life, but typing up all these problems I deal with just makes them worse. Im tired of talking about it. I've talked and talked and talkd for years. It never makes anything better. It never does anything. I mean, sure, venting helps with immediate frustration, but it doesn't help anything long-term. I needed serious help, and theres never going to be enough help to change how bad my life has gotten.
On the one hand, I regret giving up and trying to kill myself the first time. I have failed at everything I have ever tried; why did I think I would be able to succeed at that? On the other hand, that first attempt showed me exactly how little anyone cares. But the worst part is me not understanding that I am the issue. I know I'm the problem. I know I will always get better. There is only one permanent solution and they'll lock me up for thinking about it and send me bills instead of just letting me make the world a better place and take the trash out? Figure a few different people have tried talking to me about whats going on so heres everything i can muster the energy to talk about again. Feel free to ask questions, talk shit, whatever yall want. Do you have a suggestion of where to best put money? I’ve had my own share of mental health struggles but I’m grateful I’ve never struggled with suicidal ideation. I wouldn’t pretend to know how daunting and complex that is. I do know though how freakin frustrating it’s been to get affordable and accessible help in the US. If you’ve got a recommendation on where to donate I’d love to think my contribution could actually do something.
On another note: I agree largely with what you said about so much baseless support being voiced. I won’t act like I’m a suicide hotline for you or you can call whenever. I don’t know you nor do I trust you and I’d imagine the feeling is mutual. In my worldview I know we’re connected by the common experience of both being human in a harsh world. Community of any amount is sacred to me. Fellow humans keep me going and I believe it is an intrinsically good thing that my fellow humans continue to exist. For that reason I long for you, whoever you are, to continue to exist. I can’t do virtually anything for you from my position but I cant imagine what you’re going through. I won’t tell you what to do, but I can tell you watching this video wrenched my heart. And I hope to the God of my experience that I won’t ever see yours because you will continue to exist and hopefully find meaning in whatever you do on this difficult planet.
Sorry for the length of this. I worked as a hospital chaplain (no particular religion, more just emotional support for patients) for a long time and met with many people who came in as a result of failed suicide attempts. Over my years I never met a single one of them who wished it had worked. In varied ways they all said “as soon as I did it, I regretted it.” I wish I could have that talk with the kid in this video. But sometimes the attempt is successful. The only thing that comforts me then is the hope that he found what he was longing for in this tragedy. And personally i’m comforted to picture him in an afterlife, but that’s my background and maybe isn’t yours.
So just know that I have care in my heart for you. I can’t help. I can’t save. I can’t fix. Just know that from behind this keyboard, from where I am to where you are, for what it’s worth, human to human- I long for you to find comfort and continue to exist.

I actually have lost soooo much weight by cutting out all sugar, except natural like fruits or juices but nothing added. I completely cut out all caffeine, nicotine, amd have gone from smoking a quarter a day to almost completely quit, like maybe an eighth a day. Idk anything at all about keto though. If im not trying to learn something computer related to have a viable skill to earn money from home, ive been working out in my home gym. See, youre the reason i gave up asking for help, and the reason there is no fucking help. How the fuck could your money help? Me particularly, probably couldnt, because you probably dont have enough to be able to help me go see a doctor and pay medical debts for testing and operations and procedures the doctors think i need, pay for therapy, pay for mental healthcare and medications and testing and treatments, pay for a not moldy apartment, pay for food so im not eating rotting food that others give me when theirs expires and they go get them fresh food. You may be too young to understand what money is needed for in the real world, and im sorry if thats the case, but this is the situation for millions of people.
Therefore, since if everyone who wants to say you cared put aside money and helped your community, i never asked for it or said to help me, but yall could save a lot of people. Money is the issue thats killing so many. Not enough money to fund assisting people.
It would be nice if all the years of me paying huge amounts of taxes and supporting my community had actually helped me, but no, im met by assholes asking how the fuck money can help. Thats how. If you care to read it all. But, you obviously dont care, or youd see where id already said how money could personally help me, but again, i not once asked you or anyone on this website for money. I stopped begging for help and trying to stay alive. Im just sitting and withering away, praying to not wake up tomorrow and stop being a financial burden. Why beg to be part of a world with toxic ass people like you?

Perhaps you're right, but that doesn't erase the pain inflicted on those who knew and loved you; the agony of those left behind is far less painful when it happens by external cases like accidents or old age; rather than by the very own hand one once felt its pulse and warmth. That's what makes suicides rather selfish IMO, by making others needlessly suffer and having to walk the earth until the day they die carrying that pain.
Since death is the only guarantee in life and the end of the long journey thru corporeal life, there's really nothing to be gained by hurrying the inevitable. After all, it is not the finish line what really matters, but the journey we take thru life to get there.

Yeah, it's a sad thing. Sometimes suicide is contagious. I get that a person attempting suicide is already not in their right mind but I wish there were more realization about the impact of their choice. Especially in the case of jumpers and the like.

Really it isn't pleasant, and you do know you are suffocating. My husband found his security guard and his girlfriend dead of carbon monoxide- from using a generator with doors & windows closed. Pink foam is all he could remember, they had huge cones of foam on their mouths. The guy tried to get out but died on the stairway.

My husband found 2 kids who had died by carbon monoxide because they stupidly used a generator in a building with the doors closed. He came into work to find the guy dead on the stairs, probably trying to get out, and the girl was on the staff couch, also dead. Foaming mouths, he was shocked and horrified. Really messed up his head because they hadn't been dead that long, and no one expects to find their security guard dead.
