12 year old Katelyn Nicole Davis live streamed her suicide in her backyard. In the video she is heard apologising for her weakness, and also apologises that the viewers have to watch her suicide.
She hung herself from a tree. While doing so you can hear people calling her name.
Katelyn claimed that she had been a victim of sexual abuse by a family member.
I saw a request for the full video of this on it's original post, so while this is a "repost" it has about 40 more minutes worth of video

I think this video was one of the first suicide ones I've ever watched. It got me back then and it got me again today.
I think most of the people that commit suicide don't want to die, they just want the emotional pain to end and don't know how else. I've been there a few times myself.
The first time when I was 15.
I've got bullied in school and had no support system. Was fighting with my mom almost every day. I felt like no one cared about me.
I took 100 500mg pills of aspirin. I didn't have excess to anything else and I was too scared to jump or hang myself.
My mom found me and woke me up. I started vomiting immediately and she called an ambulance.
They pumped my stomach at the hospital and told my mother 30 minutes later and my stomach wall would've ruptured.
After 2 days they sent me home. No recourses offered or anything.
When she is apologizing for everything. I felt that so deep.

I feel you. I've had 4 attempts only one was close to fatal, happened this summer. Overdosed on antidepressants and got sent to the ER immediately after heing found. That was the worst day of my life the pain i had internally and mentally. I'm happy you survived, hope you're doing better:)

The stepdad and mother both were arrested a few years later, for serious drug charges. It's not justice, if he truly did abuse her. The allegations of sexual abuse were never verified. But given the way she constantly begged for help, she should have been removed from the home until an investigation was completed. This tragedy was completely avoidable. Instead, Katelyn was treated like a disturbed problem child, instead of a victim. Her mother was in complete denial.
Admittedly, I don't know the truth, but it certainly seems to me that Katelyn was first victimized by the stepdad, neglected by her mother and then the system failed her miserably! I am a father of 2 girls. This makes me cry. I have not cried since I was a little boy.

I hope the mother and stepfather are still in prison?? It's a tragedy what happened there. I've seen a lot of videos of her on YouTube, you can see the run-down apartment and how she takes care of her siblings. I have seen many videos like this but this one is one of the saddest, you want to jump through the smartphone and just hug the girl!! That piercing ringtone on her cell phone never fails to make you cringe. Especially the way her lifeless body sways in the wind, horrible.

god, that’s heartbreaking. i just wanna reach thru the screen and give her a big hug when she’s crying and apologizing. you can tell she’s scared and doesn’t want to do it but probably didn’t see another way out of her situation. i’ve been there; when a family member assaults you, the rest of the family completely turns on you, and it’s so isolating. poor angel :(

Toward the end she asks herself “why am I crying” and it’s obvious to me that she doesn’t understand any of what she’s going through. She was so confused and scared and her mind thought the only way out was to end it all.

It's very sad 😢 to see how desperate this girl 👧🏻 is and sees no other way but to kill herself!! It makes you want to jump through your smartphone and prevent her suicide!! But since this is not possible, one can only watch helplessly as the life slowly drains from her body. That piercing ringtone on her smartphone literally makes you cringe.
