Celebrity Instagram Influencer Commits Suicide During Live Broadcast After Content Dispute
Jakarta - Police have revealed the cause of the suicide of influencer FM, also known as MJ, who took their own life while live streaming on the Instagram app.
AKP Suwarno, the head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of Kebayoran Lama Police Station, stated that the suicide occurred after Fitri had an argument with their partner due to their unwillingness to create content together.
"The partner wanted to create content, but it didn't happen, and Fitri got angry. The content didn't materialize because something was missing, and Fitri got upset," he told reporters on Wednesday (April 17).
Suwarno mentioned that several times the victim was found in an angry state after failing to produce content for their social media.

"She harmed herself, went home, and her sister came to visit her. She threw her bag and went to sleep. Then she played with her phone, and the next morning, her sister found out that she had hanged herself," he added.
Suwarno stated that prior to the suicide, the victim had also consumed floor cleaner and injured themselves with a sharp weapon.
According to the family's statement, the victim had attempted suicide four times.

According to him, there is no concrete evidence to suggest that FM suffered violence from her partner based on the investigation results.
