A 27-year-old man died after being shot by his own gun. The case happened in Artur Nogueira, when Vinicius Douglas de Oliveira was handling the revolver and the accident happened. The Civil Police will investigate the case.According to the Civil Police, on the 9th of this month, Vinicius was fiddling with his 38 caliber revolver when it accidentally went off. He was taken to the Artur Nogueira Municipal Emergency Room and then transferred to the HC (Hospital de Clínicas) at Unicamp (State University of Campinas).
After spending six days in hospital in serious condition, he couldn't resist and died on Monday night, 15.
Vinicius left behind a young daughter and was buried on Tuesday in Artur Nogueira.

A woman identified as FM (31) ended her life by hanging herself on Sunday (14/4/2024).Wearing cream-colored trousers, FM hanged herself in the bathroom using a towel while broadcasting her actions live on Instagram.
As of now, it is not known for certain why FM chose to broadcast her suicide on social media.
Before hanging herself, FM allegedly had an argument with her partner the day before the incident.
Before being found dead from suicide, FM was reportedly experiencing violence from her partner. This was based on a bump on FM's head before the suicide.
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Kebayoran Lama Police AKP Suwarno denied these allegations. He stated that the victim's injury was not caused by her partner identified as YB.
"The bump was caused by the victim herself," said Suwarno on Wednesday (17/4/2024).
Suwarno even stated that YB did not commit any violence against the victim.
According to him, there is no concrete evidence to suggest that FM suffered violence from her partner based on the investigation results.
"We have investigated and examined the boyfriend, and he did not commit any violence against the victim," he said.
FM and her partner were allegedly arguing before the suicide incident occurred. This information was confirmed by Suwarno.
FM and her partner argued the day before the victim ended her life because they decided not to create content for social media.
"So they decided not to make content, the victim got angry, and then an argument ensued," added Suwarno.

Until Sunday (14/4/2024), she was found hanging in the bathroom.

Celebrity Instagram Influencer Commits Suicide During Live Broadcast After Content Dispute
Jakarta - Police have revealed the cause of the suicide of influencer FM, also known as MJ, who took their own life while live streaming on the Instagram app.
AKP Suwarno, the head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of Kebayoran Lama Police Station, stated that the suicide occurred after Fitri had an argument with their partner due to their unwillingness to create content together.
"The partner wanted to create content, but it didn't happen, and Fitri got angry. The content didn't materialize because something was missing, and Fitri got upset," he told reporters on Wednesday (April 17).
Suwarno mentioned that several times the victim was found in an angry state after failing to produce content for their social media.
After failing to create the content, the victim reportedly left their partner's house after inflicting self-harm.
"So, the girl actually came to her partner's house, and after that, she was told to leave because she kept getting angry. After that, she hit her own body and head, and then she went home," he explained.
"She harmed herself, went home, and her sister came to visit her. She threw her bag and went to sleep. Then she played with her phone, and the next morning, her sister found out that she had hanged herself," he added.
Suwarno stated that prior to the suicide, the victim had also consumed floor cleaner and injured themselves with a sharp weapon.
According to the family's statement, the victim had attempted suicide four times.
"So, first, she harmed her body, then she drank Wipol (it some kind of Bleach) and then committed suicide. She had reportedly attempted it nearly four times," he said.

A Bend Police officer was justified in using deadly force to shoot an armed 18-year-old Bend man who at the same moment used his own gun to take his life during a March 20 encounter after a crash on the Bend Parkway, Deschutes County District Attorney Steve Gunnels concluded Friday.
Gunnels issued a 12-page report on the use of deadly force that laid out the sequence of events that night and concluded that while Bend Police Officer Wesley Murphy “acted lawfully in self-defense and defense of others” when he shot Gabriel Platz, the young man “died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
In the conclusion of his report, Gunnels wrote, “Officer Murphy's use of deadly force was reasonable to defend Officer (Cody) Lyter and to defend bystanders from Mr. Platz's firearm as it was being grabbed, manipulated and brought up into a shooting position (all despite multiple warnings to not grab the gun and to drop it) prior to Mr. Platz shooting himself,” Gunnels wrote in the conclusion of his report.
“Officer Murphy would have been legally justified in shooting Mr. Platz from the time it became clear Mr. Platz had grabbed the gun from the floorboard of the vehicle after having been told multiple times not to do so,” the DA said.
While Lyter also “would have been justified” in shooting Platz for the same reason, he instead “reached into the vehicle to close distance and to take the gun away or prevent it from being used,” Gunnels wrote. “That act required a great deal of courage, and it is extraordinarily fortunate that Officer Lyter was not struck by any of the three rounds fired during this incident.”
A Bend Parkway motorist reported the crash on the northbound parkway at 8:17 p.m. on March 20, involving a Lincoln Towncar that was estimated to have topped speeds of 90 mph, passing vehicles on the shoulder, Gunnels wrote. The witness said the driver smelled of alcohol and took his keys away.
Officers arrived on the scene and saw the driver still inside, also spotting a handgun on the car's floorboard. He ignored repeated direction not to reach for it and the officer-involved shooting ensued, with Platz sustaining a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound as he “was simultaneously shot by police,” an incident captured on both officers' body-warn cameras.
Gunnels told us Friday, "Mr. Platz went to kind of a great effort to grab the firearm off of the floorboard of his car. to bring it up to rack the slide on the handgun, which makes it a deadly weapon at that point, and brought it up to his head."
The DA's report says at various points that the shots were fired "virtually" or "nearly" simultaneously. Asked about that, Gunnels told NewsChannel 21 Friday: "I believe the officer's first shot was simultaneous with Mr. Platz's shot. I've reviewed the footage many, many times, and it is impossible for me to hear or see a time difference, even when watching in very slow motion with sound."
The report said that Lyter only drew his gun after the three shots were fired and as he moved away from the car.
In his conclusion, Gunnels stated, “Hindsight allows us to recognize that Mr. Platz acted with an intent to end his own life, but the officers who were charged with protecting the public at that moment did not have the benefit of hindsight.'
“They had a duty to act within seconds to end the threat that they reasonably perceived, and they did so,” the DA wrote. "They did not have the ability to wait and see what would happen.”
“These events represent a tragedy for those affected by them, including Gabriel Platz and his family,” he concluded. “The involved officers carry the emotional burden of these events, as well as do witnesses.”
