This post is nice and descriptive. Any more descriptive and would have just puked on my keyboard the delicious HAGGIS I have been eating. It is a savory pudding containing sheep's pluck (heart, liver, and lungs) and cooked while encased in the animal's stomach. Since I was not feeling too fancy today, I topped it with some recently unearthed fermented fish sauce (Surströmming). The sauce actually tastes quite tame considering that it was buried by a Swede in the 16th century and it was found laying in the sun after the permafrost melted

One has to wonder how much it ferments given Iceland's weather. I was only aware of the similar let-it-hang dish-prepping model that is used in Scandinavia. Seems like a good way to ruin tasty fresh fish but I am sure there are historic reasons.
That doesn't even look too appetizing in google photos. Reminds me of whale blubber left in the beach to rot. Also, I had some regular shark in south-east Asia and was not too positively impressed

Regular shark (fin I assume) is eaten for the springy noodly texture and doesnt have much of a taste of its own, and often is flavored with fancy broths. I personally enjoy it.

It’s left to rot because it neutralizes the uric acid in the Greenland shark, which is poisonous to consume. Burying and drying it makes it edible. It’s fucking foul, man. That is some coincidence. I don't have much to say other than I love your work in the around ~2013 video+audio. It is the only case/disk on my bookshelf. I know it cost me around 50€ more than PVP (had to ship from Germany to the corner of EU) but it is a prized possession for life so the value did not matter. More or less every year I have to watch it.
I am sucker for choirs so I loved those shots the most. Also that violinist woman in the front with the red-blue bangs is probably the most charismatic violinist I have ever seen.

The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the North Bergen Police Department are investigating a crash on Tonnelle Avenue that left one pedestrian dead on Friday, December 9, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has announced.
At approximately 12:04 p.m., the North Bergen Police Department was notified of a pedestrian struck in the area of Tonnelle Avenue and 91st Street. Responding officers found the lifeless body of a woman and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to her next of kin.
During the initial investigation, it was determined the woman was struck by a tractor trailer traveling south on Tonnelle Avenue. The driver of the tractor trailer, a 38-year-old Texas man, continued on Tonnelle Avenue, stopped in the area of 68th Street, and called 911.
The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the North Bergen Police Department are actively investigating this case. No arrests have been made at this time.
