You don't have the right to form a massive fucking mob that incites panic and violence. I don't think multiple people already armed with bats and other weapons immediately trying to attack the vehicle is a good indicator that it was "peaceful". you realise that if you take a wrong turn, either because you aren't local or weren't aware of this event happening, these people who are already armed will immediately start attacking you? If someone was driving behind you and it's a narrow street, you now have to coordinate reversing with several cars or you just stay stuck while they attack you.
