A teenager has died after being hit by a train while making a tiktok video on Kalikapur railway bridge in Kalukhali upazila of Rajabari.
The incident took place on the bridge around 11:30 am on Wednesday (March 2).
Witnesses said that Alhaj Hossain went to Pangsha Upazila Health Complex Hospital with his friends to get vaccinated on Wednesday morning. At that time, on the way back from there with the vaccine, he went to visit Kalikapur Bridge with his friends. Later, he climbed on the bridge and started shooting to make a tick video with his mobile. At that time Alhaj Hossain did not notice a train coming to Rajbari. He died on the spot after being hit by a train. His friends fled immediately after the incident. Later, the locals brought his body down from the bridge and informed the police.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Raja Railway Police Station Masud Alam said the body would be sent to the morgue of Rajbari Sadar Hospital for autopsy after the inquest report.
