A 32-year-old cyclist died after being hit by a car in Feira de Santana , 100 km from Salvador, on Tuesday (23). A security camera in the region recorded the moment of the accident.

The collision occurred on Avenida Getúlio Vargas, close to the intersection with Avenida Maria Quitéria. In the video, it is possible to see that the cyclist was heading in the opposite direction of the road and was passing in front of a bus stop, when he was hit by the yellow car, which was speeding.

Ademir Farias Oliveira was thrown over the car and fell onto the track. The bicycle he was using was completely destroyed.

Shortly after the accident, the car crashed into a bus that was passing through the area and into a pole. The case was confirmed by the Municipal Traffic Superintendency (SMT), but the agency did not detail the circumstances of the accident.

According to witnesses, the driver of the car felt ill and lost control of the vehicle. He was taken to a private hospital in the city, which was not named. There is no information about the driver's health status.

KUALA LUMPUR: Firefighters are in the process of extracting the victims of a crash involving two military helicopters in Lumut today.

A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department said based on initial information, there were no survivors.

"There were 10 crew members in total. Based on preliminary information, there were no survivors.

"Firefighters are in the process of extracting the victims," a spokesperson told the New Straits Times.

The Malaysian Armed Forces helicopters were believed to have crashed in a mid-air collision over the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) base in Lumut this morning.

The helicopters, an Agusta Westland AW139 and a Eurcopter Fennec, had collided during a mid-air manoeuvre.

It is understood that both helicopters were undergoing formation training in conjunction with the Fleet Open Day scheduled to take place from May 3-5.

First responders conducted an 'active rescue' on Tuesday morning after a plane plummeted into the Tanana River area of Fairbanks, Alaska.

Alaska State Troopers joined together with local, state and federal agencies to respond to the crash, which took place near Kallenberg Road, officials reported.

There were two people were on board the Douglas DC-4 aircraft, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The condition of the passengers on board remains unknown.

Alaska State Troopers reported that the Douglas C-54 Skymaster airplane had crashed into the Tanana River near Fairbanks - The C-54 is a military version of the Douglas DC-4, which was a World War II-era airplane.

"Just now there was an accident on the via malalak bukittinggi road between a motorcyclist and a four-wheeled rider," Every Andi captioned his post.

He explained that the two vehicles were involved in a goat fight from opposite directions.

"It is estimated that a mother motorcyclist died on the spot and two children suffered severe injuries. It is hoped that colleagues will be careful traveling," he added.

The condition of the three victims is not yet known. When this information was submitted, Sumbarkita was still gathering further information from the authorities.
