A woman, who has been identified as Doreen Haynes of Golden Grove, lost her life this afternoon in an accident that was caught on camera in Water Street, Georgetown.
The video recording showed the woman standing on the outside of a parked pick-up talking to someone on the inside, when as the truck drove pass her, it squeezed her into the pick up as the truck driver pulled to the left.
The woman's body was pitched onto the roadway, and it appeared as though the left back wheel of the truck ran over her body.
The driver of the truck stopped immediately, while other persons, including the person she was talking to in the pick-up, rushed to offer help, but it appeared too late.
She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A motorcyclist died around 6:15 pm Thursday night after being hit by a utility truck in San Ramón.
The incident was recorded by a surveillance camera. The video shows the truck turning left and, as a result of entering the lane, crashing head-on into a motorcycle that was traveling along the road.
Upon arrival, Costa Rican Red Cross (CRC) paramedics found a man, approximately 51 years old, with no vital signs. Another patient was transferred in emergency condition to a clinic in Alajuela.
At this time, the identity of the victim has not been established.

A 56-year-old woman died and six other people were injured after a car fell from a newly opened overpass in India on a Saturday.
According to “India Today”, the vehicle was traveling on the viaduct at 104 km/h. The speed limit permitted on the road is 40 km/h. After making a winding right turn, the driver lost control. When it collided at the bottom, a group of pedestrians ended up being hit.
The driver, Krishna Milan Rao Kalvakuntla, suffered minor injuries and was detained. He fractured his collarbone and suffered burns. The accident occurred in Hyderabad, India, at Biodiversity Junction.
Pasala Naga Venkata Satyaveni died instantly. His 23-year-old daughter was also hit and is in stable condition – as are the other five victims.

17 years old biker died after colliding with a red VAZ in the village of Sadovy.
He was identified as Artem Kravchenko on local groups, but this was not confirmed.

On the morning of April 15, in Chu town, Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province, a traffic accident occurred that left a man dead.The incident occurred on Highway 31. At the time of the accident, driver Pham Van Toan (born 1990), residing in Ho Dau village, Cam Ly commune, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province, was driving a car with a registration certificate. 98LD - 010.68 goes in the direction of Luc Ngan - Son Dong.
When arriving at the intersection area of Minh Khai residential group, Chu town, there was a collision with motorbike registration number 98N1 - 9812 driven by Mr. D.T.D. (born 1965), residing in Nghia residential group, Chu town, driving in the same direction.

The seconds of an accident involving a four-wheeled vehicle and a motorcycle on the Padang-Bukittinggi alternative road in Malalak were recorded by the car's dashcam.The video shows that the motorcycle left its lane and hit the car. The accident occurred at the location of the uphill bend on Saturday (13/4/2024) at around 1:16 pm.
Based on the car dashcam footage obtained by Sumbarkita, initially the car was traveling at a moderate speed in the left lane. Not long after, a motorcycle suddenly appeared and immediately hit the car. It is suspected that the motorcycle lost control.
The motorcyclist and pillion rider immediately bounced when they hit the car.
Another video uploaded by Facebook account Every Andi shows the scene immediately after the accident. Three people were seen lying on the side of the road.
"Just now there was an accident on the via malalak bukittinggi road between a motorcyclist and a four-wheeled rider," Every Andi captioned his post.
He explained that the two vehicles were involved in a goat fight from opposite directions.
"It is estimated that a mother motorcyclist died on the spot and two children suffered severe injuries. It is hoped that colleagues will be careful traveling," he added.
The condition of the three victims is not yet known. When this information was submitted, Sumbarkita was still gathering further information from the authorities.

45 years old woman in Kia was driving down Gagarina Street in Leninogorsk.
On a pedestrian crossing, an elderly woman on a bicycle (aged 75) drove straight into the car.
She died on spot.
Traffic Police of Tatarstan wrote:
We remind! Before crossing the road, a cyclist must get off the bicycle.

On September 21, 2014, at 2:30 p.m., on the 67th km of the Elabuga-Perm highway, the driver of a DAF car born in 1966. collided with a VAZ-2107 car moving in front in the same direction, driven by a man born in 1975. After which the DAF car collided with an oncoming Renault Sandero car, driven by a man born in 1970. As a result of the collision, the VAZ-2107 caught fire, the driver of the VAZ was trapped in the car and died as a result of the fire. The passenger of the Renault Sandero car, a girl born in 2004, was injured and was released home after receiving medical assistance. As a result of the collision, six more cars received mechanical damage. July 27, 2007, two AS-350 AStar helicopters from television stations KNXV-TV and KTVK collided in mid-air over Phoenix, Arizona, while covering a police pursuit.[4][5] On board the two aircraft were four people in total – pilot Craig Smith and photographer Rick Krolak from KNXV-TV, and pilot Scott Bowerbank and photographer Jim Cox from KTVK – all of whom were killed, while no casualties were reported on the ground.[6]
KNXV was the area's ABC affiliate, while KTVK was an independent news station. The two helicopters were broadcasting a police pursuit live when the collision occurred, at 12:46:18 p.m. MST.[7] Both aircraft came down in the Steele Indian School Park, central Phoenix.[8]
Three other news helicopters from some of the city's other stations (KSAZ, KPNX, and KPHO) were in the area and within seconds began reporting on the crash. A photograph taken moments after the collision and showing both helicopters plunging towards the ground was circulated by AP.[9]
