Russia, A Tyumen resident who participated in a heavy weight lifting competition died while performing the exercise.

One of the competition participants, Lifeguard Mikhail Potanin, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest after performing the exercise.

Despite all the efforts of the ambulance crew, tragedy could not be avoided. The athlete certainly had the necessary medical clearance.

I took this with my phone on January 6th. Was watching the events unfold live and hit the rewind when this popped up to take the picture.
