There are MANY videos of lions and other big cats behind glass at zoos trying to attack little kids - and the cats, mainly lions, simply CANNOT resist the instinct to attack something small that turns their back.
Maybe 1 or 2 parents out of 100 would know enough about cat behavior to see the cat focus in on their child as the child was moving around.
