Jurors on Thursday acquitted Joseph Gonzales of first-degree murder in the 2022 shooting death of a man who confronted Gonzales for yelling “slow down” on a South Valley street. Gonzales remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center as the 2nd Judicial District Attorney's Office plans to retry him on the second-degree murder charge.

I was trying to eat an avocado and while attempting to remove the pit, the knife I was using slipped and went through the avocado, and through a part of my hand.

The doctors had a hard time believing me and one of them thought I was pretty stupid (I agree but still), and they had a harder time believing it didn't hurt much.

After soaking for a few minutes in water and iodine. Stung like shit when I first put it in then stopped hurting all together after a few minutes.

I had to go to the bathroom after sitting there with my hand in the iodine bath for over an hour and instead of one of the nurses wrapping it up so I could go, one of them just took my hand out and tossed a rag to me and then said nothing, so I just had to sit there bleeding everywhere.

A different nurse wrapped it for me after 15-30 minutes so I could go, then I waited another 30 minutes to get it stitched. I look like a burn victim with the way they wrapped it.

They cleaned it again with iodine and saline before finally stitching it.

I just wanted to eat a fucking avocado, this shit hurts like hell now. I was in the hospital for almost four hours. I have to keep the wrapping on for two days and I have to leave the stitches in for two weeks. Luckily the nurses doing the stitches said I can have anyone I know who is a certified nurse take them out for me at home, and I know at least four people who are, including my mom and roommate, so after the two weeks are over I can get the stitches out without having to go back to the hospital.

A murder occurred on the Qianhe Plaza section of Qianshan Road, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai, Guangdong on Saturday (11th) afternoon. A taxi driver was stabbed with a knife by a male passenger and lay bleeding on the ground. After the incident, the injured person was sent to the hospital for treatment. The stabber was arrested near the scene. The case is under further investigation.

The incident occurred near the overpass at the intersection of Qianshan Road and Yuehai West Road. Video posted online showed that at about 2:45 p.m., the driver's door of a taxi that was parked in front of the traffic light at the intersection suddenly opened. A man wearing a green shirt climbed out, the chest has been dyed red. Then, another man wearing a black shirt got out of the passenger seat and fled quickly.

Citizens at the scene quickly called the police, and multiple uniformed police officers rushed to the scene and successfully captured the suspect on the road opposite Qianshan Market, about 700 meters away from the scene.

In the evening, the Zhuhai police issued a police information report saying that after receiving the alarm, the police quickly arrived at the scene to deal with the incident, cooperated with the ambulance personnel to send the injured to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible, and captured the stabber Hu Mou near the scene. Currently, the case is under investigation.

They murder a member of an orchestra from El Empalme

The hitman arrived at the victim's house and shot him when he was resting in a hammoc

El Empalme, GUAYAS

While resting in a hammock and manipulating his cell phone, Líder Rodríguez, approximately 50 years old, was murdered.

The attack, which occurred in the Las Tecas sector of the El Empalme canton, was recorded on a security video.

In the video you can see when the hitman walks to the victim's house and shoots him. After shooting him twice, he stopped, but then fired again about five more times.

The perpetrator wore a mask, a light blue coat and a suitcase. After the attack he ran to a motorcycle that was waiting for him.

Relatives of the victim tried to help him, they put him in a van and took him to the local hospital where doctors confirmed his death.

Líder's violent death has surprised his family and friends. The now deceased worked as a worker in the municipality of El Empalme and was a member of the Amistad orchestra. Acquaintances do not know the motive for the crime.

The man was unhappy with his four-month marriage arranged by his brother so, he took his wife to brother's house, fired at neighbors, then shot his wife and himself outside the house. A video shows the wife suffering on the road as bystanders filmed instead of helping.
