A drunken fight, a kick to the stomach with a shod foot. On external examination – typical picture: a bruise on the stomach, a couple of scratches. But inside... At first glance, all organs are in place, but the spleen is shattered. Blood filled the abdominal cavity, there was almost no chance of survival.

The spleen is a delicate organ, like a flower. A kick with a shod foot is like a sledgehammer blow to it. A ruptured spleen is not just bleeding, it's a fountain of blood inside the body.

This case is a clear example of how one foolish act can lead to tragedy. Alcohol, aggression, a kick, and now the person is on the pathologist's table. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, don't let emotions overpower reason

John F. Kennedy is mainly known as John F. Kennedy's son, but was also an attorney, journalist, and a magazine publisher. On July 16th, 1999, JFK Jr., his wife Carolyn, and sister in law Lauren departed from Fairfield, New Jersey to a trip where Lauren would be dropped off at Martha's Vineyard, allowing JFK Jr. and his wife to travel to Hyannis Port, Massachusetts to attend his cousin Rory Kennedy's wedding. Lauren and Carolyn were sitting in the second row of seats. JFK Jr. checked in with the control tower on arrival to Martha's Vineyard, however the plane was reported missing after it failed to show up to the airport on time. On July 19th, fragments of Kennedy's plane were found by a vessel using a sonar scanner. The next day divers went in to the water and found the plane smashed on the seabed floor with fragments of the plane everywhere. The search ended on July 21st, when the bodies were recovered by divers, where they were then taken to the examiner's office. Kennedy's body was still strapped in the seat. They determined the reason for the crash was because of "Kennedy's failure to maintain control of the airplane during a descent over water at night, which resulted in spatial disorientation." The examiner determined the cause of death as them dying on impact. The bodies were then taken from Hyannis, to Duxbury, Massachusetts where they were then cremated.

Michael Jackson was a popular musician and singer well known throughout the world. On June 25th, 2009 he died from cardiac arrest, caused by an overdose of propofol and benzodiazepine, which his personal physician had given him to help him sleep. Police were called at 12:22 PM and arrived in three minutes. Michael was not breathing so they performed CPR to no avail. They then took him to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, while continuing to try and resuscitate him. Eventually, Michael Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 PM.

Tupac Shakur was a rapper high in the music industry. On September 7th 1996, he was in L.A. watching a boxing match starring Mike Tyson. He then left with Suge Knight in a BMW 750iL. When they eventually came up on a stop sign a white four door Cadillac sedan pulled up and fired at the car. Tupac was struck 4 times, once in the arm, once in the thigh, and twice in the chest. He was then rushed to University Medical Center of South Nevada, where he was heavily drugged and put in life support. Eventually on September 13th, Tupac passed away of internal bleeding. The cause of death was respiratory failure, and he was cremated the next day.

Today we have a patient with a question mark instead of a spine. Scoliosis, neglected, like your country house. Let's figure out if this scoliosis could send him to the grave early.

In short, scoliosis by itself is not a reason to die. The heart stops because of other things, like clogged vessels, like an old water pipe. But! If scoliosis is severe, it can add problems.

Imagine: the spine bends like a branch under snow, the chest is flattened like a beer can. The heart and lungs can't work well, it's hard for them like it is for me on Monday morning. In the end, the heart starts to fail. So our patient gets heart failure, and it's goodbye.
