The man was unhappy with his four-month marriage arranged by his brother so, he took his wife to brother's house, fired at neighbors, then shot his wife and himself outside the house. A video shows the wife suffering on the road as bystanders filmed instead of helping.

Usman Buda, a butcher in Sokoto State, was killed at an abattoir for allegedly making blasphemous comments against the Holy Prophet. Despite attempts to save him, people beat him to death. Usman, who sold cow entrails at Kasuwan Dankure market, was well-known and envied by some. Neighbors and colleagues expressed disbelief at the accusation. The Sokoto Police confirmed the incident and stated that police arrived too late to save him. Usman was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead.

A constable belonging to the Special Protection Force (SPF) tragically took his own life by shooting himself with his service rifle at a bank within the Dwaraka police station limits in Visakhapatnam on Thursday morning. Identified as Polavarapu Shankar Rao, the deceased hailed from Maddilapalem locality in the city and was originally from Srikakulam.
While on duty at the Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) in Dwarakanagar, Rao, who served as a gunman, utilized his service weapon, a self-loading rifle (SLR), to commit the act. Authorities determined that he had shot himself in the heart, causing fatal injuries. The trajectory of the bullet caused damage to the ceiling upon impact.
Rao's motive for the tragic action remains unclear, although authorities suspect financial difficulties may have played a role. Survived by his wife and two children, Rao's untimely death has left the community in shock. A case has been registered under Section 174 of the CrPC, and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain further details surrounding the incident.
