You can talk about how "it helps you appreciate life" and how "it's a humbling experience" all you like, but at the end of the day, if you frequent this forum or the like, there is an issue.
I am not one to insulate myself from death, and I think that there is something wrong with the way Western cultures treat death, but for fuck's sake, they were PEOPLE with LIVES AND FAMILIES and a bunch of edglords are congratulating each other about how they are so much more based than the rest of humanity for watching their (often drawn out or painful) deaths. Don't try and tell me that its enlightening, I might throw up.
