He was a black ex-Marine who was was arrested on Friday, May 10, 2024 for making threats to kill white people. The charge was "transmitting a threat in interstate and foreign commerce", punishable by a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. He fantasized about shooting up a gym, a supermarket, or a rich white area. He felt a connection to Nikolas Cruz and liked the "element of surprise and style" of the 2022 Buffalo shooting (even though Payton Gendron targeted black people).

He made his WPD account on February 22, 2023 and made posts from February 23, 2023 to June 7, 2023. (I do not know if there are deleted or removed comments from later dates.) His last voting activity was on January 6, 2024.

Prelude at home

14th of December 2012. Adam Lanza murders his mother by shooting her 4 times in the face at point blank distance with a bolt-action rifle before stealing multiple guns to use for his shooting. Adam steals a rifle, two handguns and a shotgun, all of his weapons are semi-automatic. Adam then drove to the Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Adam parks his car near the front of the school and exits his vehicle, he takes with him two handguns and and a rifle. Adam shoots out a glass window adjacent to the entrance with his rifle and enters the building at about 9:35 AM, he shoots at three school staff, Dawn Hoshsprung, Mary Sherlach and Natalie Hammond, who are heading his way down the main hallway, another teacher Deborah Pisani is wounded down the hallway, Sherlach and Hochsprung are dead, Hammond and Pisani are wounded.

Adam enters the main office of the school before turning back around, he then heads down the hallway and enters classroom 10, he shoots and kills teacher Victoria Soto before setting his sights on the students, but he has to reload, while Adam reloads, a student named Jessie Lewis is theorized to have encouraged his classmates to escape, Adam finishes reloading and starts shooting once again, he kills teacher Ann Murphy and students Jessie Lewis, Dylan Hockley, Allison Wyatt and Avielle Richman, and a student Olivial Engel is fatally injured. At 9:35:39, the first 911 call is placed.

Adam exits classroom 10 and makes his way to classroom 8. The teachers in classroom have made the decision to try to herd the entire classroom of 16 kids into a small bathroom, Adam enters the classroom and fires into the crowd of children and the teachers nearby, he reloads after he has exhausted his magazine and continues to shoot, he continues to reload and shoot until he reaches a point blank distance shooting at the teachers and students, he kills teachers Lauren Rousseau and Rachel D'Avino, along with students Charlotte Bacon, Daniel Barden, Josephine Gay, Ana Marquez-Greene, Madeleine Hsu, Catherine Hubbard, Chase Kowalski, Jamie Mattioli, Grace McDonnell, Emily Parker, Jack Pinto, Noah Pozner, Caroline Previdi and Jessica Rekos, student Benjamin Wheeler is fatally injured, only 1 student out of the entire class has survived.

After this, Adam returns to classroom 10 and shoots out the windows of the classroom, he then pulls out his Glock and kills himself by a gunshot to the head at 9:40:03 AM. The shooting lasted about 5 minutes.

Newtown police arrived at the Sandy Hook Elementary School at 9:39 AM, the police did not enter the school until 9:44:47 AM, it is not known why they chose to wait, but at least they didn't pulla Uvalde. No children that were shot would have survived even if they were given immediate medical treatment.

Adam Lanza

Adam Lanza was born on the 22nd of April 1992, in Kingston, New Hampshire. He exhibited signs of developmental disorders early in childhood, later being diagnosed with aspergers/autism when he was 13. He had a hit and miss experience with school, he was drawn out of high school and was homeschooled, he earned a GED. Adam attended classes at a university between 2008-2009. Adam went to a catholic school during 2004-2005, there is a possibility Adam was sexually abused during his childhood, which may have influenced his development of pedophilia. Adam was diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder when he was 14, psychiatric recommendations for treatment of Adam were not pursued after a negative experience with an anti-depressant, from then on Adam never got any psychiatric or medicinal treatment regarding his mental health, Adam later developed other mental illnesses such as anorexia nervosa and depression, he also began to self-harm at least a year before the shooting.

Adam's parents divorced in 2009, Adam stayed with his mother Nancy, while his brother, Ryan, stayed with his father Peter. Nancy was living off of an alimony between 200k to 300k dollars a year, Adam never worked a day in his life and lived off of his mother's money in a three story house up until the shooting when he was 20. In 2010, Adam cut himself off from his brother and father after his father said that Adam would be unable to ever fulfill his dream of being an army ranger.

In the two months prior to the school shooting, Adam had completely cut himself off from the world, he did not talk to his mother or come out his room at all, Nancy Lanza was somehow okay with this and decided not to try and help Adam at all, although Nancy didn't know about Adam's plans for mass murder, Adam's self-harm and depression was more than enough reason to remove guns from the house considering the high correlation between self-harm, depression and suicide.

Aftermath

In 2013 the Connecticut government passed a gun-control bill with support from politicians of both political parties. The bill requires universal background checks and a "high capacity" magazine ban, and added over 100 guns to the states "assault weapons" ban.

In 2014 Sandy Hook Elementary School was demolished, it was rebuilt and opened in 2016.

In 2015 the town of Newtown decided to acquire and demolish the home of Nancy and Adam Lanza.

A young girl aged approximately 14, identified as Emanuelly Silva e Silva, resident of the Angelim neighborhood, died after throwing herself in front of a trailer on Avenida Campos Dantas, in Presidente Dutra (MA).

Images from security cameras captured the moment when Emanuelly was walking alone along the avenue and after a trailer approached, she threw herself in front of the vehicle.

The tragedy occurred at around 1:46 am, this Thursday morning (13).

According to information from people close to Emanuelly, she suffered from depression and had tried to commit suicide on at least two occasions.

The young woman was a student at Colégio Ribamar Ficane, located in the Fátima neighborhood. The school paid tribute and expressed solidarity with family members.

USA - New York, March 27, 2024

OZONE PARK, Queens (WABC) -- A man wielding scissors was shot and killed by police in the Ozone Park section of Queens on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were responding to a home on 103rd Street after a mother called about her 19-year-old son acting erratically.

When officers arrived, they were confronted by the man who was wielding scissors.

NYPD officials say the officers attempted to take the man into custody and get him help, but instead, he pulled a pair of scissors out of a drawer and charged at the officers.

The officers initially fired their tasers at the man, in the living room kitchen of his second-floor home, but as his mother rushed to his aid, officials say "she accidentally knocked the tasers out of his body," rendering them ineffective

The suspect then picked up the scissors and came at the officers again, forcing them to open fire.

"It was chaotic, fast moving and they had to defend themselves," NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said.

The man who was shot was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The officers were not injured but were taken to an area hospital to be treated for ringing of the ears.

QUEVEDO, ECUADOR – APRIL 28, 2024

Landy Párraga Goyburo, 23, was the winner a candidate of the Miss Ecuador beauty pageant in 2022. She gained almost 200,000 followers on Instagram, started doing paid promotions and enjoyed the life of a celebrity / model.

On that fateful week, she was invited to her friend's wedding in the smaller town of Quevedo. She arrived there with her boyfriend Jose Luis Betancourt. When they were at a local restaurant for dinner, two armed men burst in and shot Landy.

The shooting & aftermath

Landy was left lying in a pool of blood, slowly dying next to her boyfriend. The attack was caught on video by a security camera inside the restaurant.

Landy was having a sexual relationship with Leandro Norero. He was one of the most influential drug lords in the area, known as “El Patrón”. He was assassinated in October 2022 by a rival group. Nevertheless, it is believed that this assassination and their sexual relationship had a connection. Some sources claim Landy had received money from Norero.

The two hit men were able to pinpoint Landy's location thanks to her Instagram. She posted a storie with food from the restaurant.

‘B—-, you dead': Woman ‘marched' friend into alley at gunpoint and executed her, then claimed it was self-defense, police say

A 33-year-old woman in Washington state has been arrested for the coldblooded execution of one of her friends, allegedly leading the other woman into a back alley at gunpoint and repeatedly taunting her before shooting her multiple times.

Rickesha D. Overton was taken into custody on Sunday and charged with one count of first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm and second-degree assault with a deadly weapon in the slaying of Alisia DeCoteau, authorities announced.

According to a news release from the Seattle Police Department, officers at about 1:10 a.m. responded to an emergency call regarding shots being fired inside of a building in the 2500 block of Western Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, first responders said they found a female victim in her 20s or 30s suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds in the alleyway between Wall St. and Vine.

Emergency medical personnel attempted lifesaving measures on the victim, later identified as DeCoteau, but were unable to resuscitate her. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators quickly identified the suspected shooter as Overton, who was located running from the scene and taken into custody. Police said she was carrying a handgun with an empty magazine when apprehended.

An excerpt from the charging documents released by the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office provided additional details about what happened in the last moments of the victim's life, which investigators learned by obtaining security footage of the shooting.

The footage allegedly showed Overton “holding the victim at gun point as she marches the victim down the stairs” of the apartment complex and to the building's back door, which leads into the alley way. After forcing the victim out the back door, Overton allegedly threw DeCoteau to the ground. Overton initially goes back inside of the building before apparently changing her mind.

“Internal stairway video captures the precise moment in which the defendant, still armed with a firearm, stops halfway up the stairs and changes course to head directly back through the door in which she just came, back to where she left the victim,” the charging document states. “Standing over the victim the defendant taunts her, stating ‘say I won't,' in essence daring the victim to question whether the defendant will in fact use very gun she's been holding over the victim against her. It's at this moment that the defendant shoots the victim multiple times, aiming the final shot into the back of the victim's head.”

In court documents obtained by Seattle CBS affiliate KIRO, authorities said that just prior to the shooting, Overton could be heard yelling at the victim, “I'll blow your mouth. Say I won't. Say I won't.”

After allegedly shooting the victim in the head, Overton reportedly continued to pull the trigger several times despite being out of ammunition. As DeCoteau was lying on the ground, Overton was allegedly heard yelling, “You dead b—-. B—-, you dead. She then proceeded to kick DeCoteau at least five times before a crowd of eyewitnesses intervened.

One of the witnesses began filming the grisly scene, which reportedly showed Overton pointing her handgun at the growing mass of people and screaming, “I'll blow your mother f—— brains out.”

When police first encountered Overton, she reportedly claimed that she killed DeCoteau in self-defense.

“She came into my apartment,” Overton allegedly said. “It was self-defense. I had to shoot her.”

A short while later, Overton reportedly began changing her story.

“She's not even dead,” the suspect allegedly said at one point. Later, she told police, “I don't care if you give me life,” adding, “I just want to go to Alisia (DeCoteau's) funeral.”

While the nature of the relationship between Overton and DeCoteau was not specified by authorities, KIRO confirmed that the two were friends on Facebook.

According to a GoFundMe page setup for DeCoteau's memorial, she was the mother to a baby who is now in the care of DeCoteau's older sister.

A neighbor filmed a terrifying shootout between Charlotte police and two gunmen in a blitz of bullets that left four officers dead and another four injured.

A livestream shared by Saing Chhoeun on Facebook shows two heavily armed cops taking cover behind a vehicle as they engage in a gun battle on Monday.

The video begins with the terrified neighbor seemingly locked outside his house and asking someone to let him in.

The officers repeatedly ask the neighbor to go inside the home, but he informs them he can't because he does not have the keys.

The shooting happened as four officers were serving a warrant for felon Terry Clark Hughes, who was wanted for possessing a firearm and shot dead in the gun battle.

Samuel 'Sam' Polche, William 'Alden' Elliot and Charlotte police officer Joshua Eyer died Monday following the horror shooting as they tried to serve warrant. Both Polche and Elliot were North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections officers working with the US Marshal's office.

Charlotte, N.C. – (Tuesday, April 30, 2024) – Today, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department provided an update on Monday's tragic attack on law enforcement officers in the North Tryon Division. CMPD Chief Johnny Jennings released the names and conditions of the four CMPD officers wounded in the incident. U.S. Marshals Service Director Ronald Davis released the identity of the fourth officer killed in the line of duty.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Thomas Weeks died in the hospital from his gunshot wound injuries. He was a 13-year veteran of the U.S. Marshals Office. CMPD Officer Christopher Tolley, hired in May of 2006, underwent surgery to treat his gunshot wound injuries and remains in the hospital in stable condition. CMPD Officer Michael Giglio, hired in February of 2021, was treated for gunshot wound injuries and released from the hospital Monday. CMPD Officer Jack Blowers, hired in February of 2023, was also treated for his gunshot wound injuries and was released from the hospital Monday. CMPD Officer Justin Campbell, hired in June of 2020, sustained injuries resulting in a broken foot. Officer Campbell was treated and released from the hospital Tuesday morning.

CMPD was joined at a press conference this morning by the U.S. Marshals Office, the U.S. Attorney's Office of the Western District, Governor Roy Cooper, Attorney General Josh Stein, Mayor Vi Lyles and the City of Charlotte.

CMPD's Crime Scene Investigation Unit and detectives worked through the night processing the crime scene in the 5000 block of Galway Drive in the North Tryon Division. During the investigation, a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle, 40-caliber handgun and additional magazines and ammo for both weapons were recovered on scene.

Two females inside the residence were brought in on Monday, April 29, to be interviewed by detectives. They are fully cooperating with the investigation. Detectives are not looking for any additional suspects or persons of interest.

Preliminary information indicates that 12 CMPD officers fired their service weapon. All 12 of those officers are on paid, administrative leave. As is standard procedure with any officer involved shooting, the CMPD's Internal Affairs Bureau will conduct a separate but parallel investigation.

The officers involved in yesterday's shooting incident are a part of the Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force (CRFTF), which began operations in January of 2018. The task force is the newest Regional Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshals Office and is compromised of the following agencies: Atrium Health, Catawba County Sheriff's Office, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Department of Homeland Security – HIS, the Department of Justice ATF, Gaston County Police Department, Gastonia Police Department, Huntersville Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office, Monroe Police Department, Mooresville Police Department, North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, Statesville Police Department, Union County Sheriff's Office and the York County Sheriff's Office.

The investigation into this incident is being conducted by the CMPD's Homicide Unit. This is an active and ongoing investigation.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Investigators on Wednesday continued working to piece together the timeline of a deadly shooting in east Charlotte that killed four officers and left four others with gunshot wounds, rocking the law enforcement community nationwide and spurring an outpouring of support for the officers and their families.

Civic and religious leaders are asking the community for patience, love and grace as they grapple with the fallout of the deaths: Four families who have lost a husband and a father.

Officials have declined to discuss the specifics of the incident, including whether it was appropriate for law enforcement to engage in a lengthy gun battle in the middle of a neighborhood in the middle of the day.

"We do, like a number of cities across this country, have issues around violence. But I think most of the time we can identify why and how," Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles said Tuesday night following a community prayer vigil. "In this situation, I think once they finish the investigation, we will probably know more about the how and the why. And my goal is that we complete the investigation, we actually learn from what is going on and that we move forward together."

In a video posted in 2017, Logan Paul, a YouTuber, filmed a man hanging in the infamous 'Suicide Forest' also know as Aokigahara Forest in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, Japan..He fucked up and here's what happened.

The initial purpose of the video was to focus on the haunted aspects of the forest and to camp there throughout the night when they unexpectedly stumbled across a man hanging from a tree and were met with a shocking site...When they got to the forest, they were cracking jokes and making light of the situation but stressing that it is suicide forest. At 5:47, They discovered the body, Logan said, "Im not even kidding, this isn't a fucking joke guys, that's a fucking person." After repeated denial they got closer to the body. In shock, Logan asked "Did we just find a dead person in the suicide forest, hanging?" And after being asked if they think it's real, one of his friends mentioned they know the possibility of it being a real person based on a previous suicide from a classmate from the junior highschool he went to, (I am unsure if he was referring to this possibly being the man hanging in the video) this prompted the man to take action and called the police.

When they got closer to the body, they tried checking for signs of life by exclaiming things like "Hey/Hello" "You okay?" "Yo are you alive, are you fucking with us?" They show his hands and they're purple, indicating that this was a recent suicide and is infact dead

Thankfully, he did censor his face with the intent of protecting him, his privacy, and his family. This being said, there is not a known/public uncensored video, so please don't ask me for it.

Throughout the video they expressed their denial and how this has never happened to them before. Logan apologized for the grim video, saying how "Suicide is not a joke" and "Depression and mental illnesses is not a joke, we came here with the intent to focus on the haunted aspect of the forest. This just became very real." When they were met with the reality they came to realize it was "real" and "way too scarily real" and that it was "the most real vlog I've ever made"..they start making jokes of the situation by sarcastically asking "you ever stand next to a dead guy before?" to which they start laughing at and follow up with their own jokes and went on about how the whole video was supposed to be a joke but asked "why did it become so real?" He says his laughing and jokes are not a portrayal of how they actually feel about the situation however they were still met with a lot of backlash to which he has since responded to in a 1:44 minute video and a public Twitter/X post.

I do not know what was going through his head when he was editing and thinking this would be suitable for the platform or his audience. He was disrespectful and exploited the situation and excuses his actions as a "coping mechanism".

Why Was it a Problem?

Consider his target audience, it is primarily children and teens. Displaying a real depiction of a dead person on your public channel is very disturbing and distasteful and the way he was exploiting the situation/the hanging man is deplorable. He didn't take the situation seriously and covered it as a coping mechanism, regardless of how he processes this stuff, he still has a young and impressionable audience who shouldn't be exposed to content like this and the way he was light-hearted about it all took away from the seriousness of the situation and what happened with the man. He blatantly exploited him for what he thought was spreading awareness for suicide.

Logan made this apology with no intentions of being forgiven but to apologize. He ensures the initial video was raw, unfiltered, and unscripted and how they were unsure of how to think or act given the circumstances. In his apology to the victim/his family and to the Internet, he asks that those who are defending his actions to stop because those actions don't deserve to be defended. He said, "I should have never posted the video. I should have put the cameras down" and claims didn't post the video with ill or malicious intent.

The Lawsuit

While Logan wasn't removed from the platform, he was sued for this incident, rightfully so. On February 12th, CEO Susan Wojcicki said that "Paul did not violate YouTube's three-strike policy and did not meet the criteria for being banned from the platform." [3] Logan was sued by a production agency called Planeless Pictures for

The lawsuit claims:

Paul “knew that the broadcast of the suicide would have a substantial impact on his followers and would also have a serious adverse impact on Planeless.” [6]

The YouTuber “intended to take advantage of the substantial anticipated exposure that the broadcast of the suicide would generate and thus enhance Paul's celebrity and acted in reckless disregard for the adverse consequences that he knew would result to Planeless" [6]

On or about January 22nd, 2018, Google terminated its partnership with Planeless and declined to distribute their movie, "Airplane Mode," which Logan starded in, citing the suicide broadcast as a noncurable event as per their agreement. "As a result, Planeless never received the compensation that Google was contractually obligated to pay to it — $3,500,000," the documents allege. [6] The company is now pursuing Logan to reimburse this sum along with other general and consequential damages, as well as attorney's fees and legal expenses.

Aftermath

After the video was released, he was cut from the Google Performed program which allows advertisers to pay to place their ads on high-performing videos on its site and in an interview he mentioned he lost $5 million from it. He also lost sponsorship/brand deals, his YouTube Red series "Foursome", and more. In 2018, according to Social Blade, he lost 6k+ subscribers since the incident and at that time he was at 15.2 million subscribers.

But despite the backlash from the incident, he continued to gain over 300,000 (2018) and has continued to rebuild himself and grow from the situation. Logan Paul continued vlogging on February 4th, after a 3 week long break, and has remained successful at 23.5 million subscribers and is at 6 billion views receiving an average of 5+ million views per videos (2024). He is still successful and will likely remain successful if he continues to move on the right track. He is the co-founder of 'Prime' beverages. And starting in 2018 he has run the 'Impaulsive' podcast which has over 4 million YouTube subscribers and is overall a successful podcast. "As a wrestler, he has been signed to WWE since June 2022, where he performs on the SmackDown brand and is the current WWE United States Champion in his first reign." [3]

On April 16, 2017, 74-year-old Robert Lee Godwin Sr. (September 7, 1942 – April 16, 2017) was shot and killed with a firearm while walking in the Glenville neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, United States. The perpetrator, identified as 37-year-old Steve Stephens, posted a cellphone video of the shooting on his Facebook account, leading many media outlets, both during the manhunt and afterward, to dub Stephens the "Facebook killer". A warrant was issued for Stephens for aggravated murder. Two days later, he died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound when cornered by police in Erie County, Pennsylvania.

The shooting happened at around 2:00 p.m. EDT on April 16, 2017 (Easter Sunday), in the 600 block of East 93rd Street in Cleveland's Glenville neighborhood. Stephens uploaded a video of the event. Seconds before the shooting, Stephens exited his car, approached the victim and then asked Godwin to say the name of a woman with whom Stephens had been in a romantic relationship. Stephens then said "She's the reason why this is about to happen to you", before fatally shooting Godwin, who fell to the ground after he was shot. Facebook said the video was uploaded to the website after the fact, not livestreamed as initially reported. In other Facebook posts, Stephens claimed responsibility for 13 murders, but police said they were not aware of any other victims.

A search for Stephens began soon after the shooting, prompting lockdowns at a number of locations, including Cleveland State University. Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams told reporters that detectives talked with Stephens by cellphone shortly after the shooting, but had no further contact with him since that time. The manhunt expanded to other states on the morning of April 17.
