Bullfighting motorbike, teenager dies with leg severed.
PASIR PUTEH- A teenager died horribly after his right leg was severed when the motorbike he was riding collided with another motorbike on Jalan Jerus - Kok Lanas in Kampung Banggol Saman, Pasir Puteh, Malaysia.
In the incident that occurred in the afternoon, a 17 year old victim who was a school dropout died at the scene, while two men aged 18 and 21 who were riding another motorbike suffered serious injuries.
Pasir Puteh Regional Police Chief, Superintendent Zaizul Rizal Zakaria, said that from the investigation it was discovered that the victim was riding a Honda RS motorbike on the way from Kok Lanas to Kota Bharu. He said that while passing through the road in Banggol Saman Village, a Honda EX5 motorbike driven by two men from the opposite direction was believed to have lost control. This situation caused the motorbike to collide with the motorbike driven by the victim.
"The accident resulted in the victim being confirmed dead at the scene," he said when met by journalists at the Monthly Gathering at the Kelantan Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK).
Zaizul said the victim was then taken to the Forensic Unit at Tengku Anis Hospital (HTA) Pasir Puteh for an autopsy. He said, two motorbike riders who suffered serious injuries were respectively rushed to Machang Hospital and Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital, Kubang Kerian to receive further treatment.
