The girl fell into a crocodile enclosure and her skull was found by the girl's father. Local police confirmed that crocodiles killed her, and her father only found her skull in the enclosure. She was left alone with her mother, who had recently given birth to another child and had lost contact with her while she was caring for the newborn, police said. The parents built a fence around the crocodile pit, but the gaps were small enough for the children to climb through.
