A Russian man, Dmitry Stepanov aged 30, brutally beat his father to death with a club hammer in a 5 star resort in Antalya in Turkey. His father, Pavel Stepanov, aged 61, died at the scene.

Later in the video his screaming mother, Tatiana Stepanova aged 63, can be seen being brutally attacked. She was later declared dead in the hospital. Later on Dmitry attempted to strangle both of them with a wire.

By way of motivation for the attack, in a video released after the murder Dmitry claimed: My childhood dream was to take him down. Consider it. It happened. Because dreams of children must be realized." This is all we have so far.

Dmitry was a diagnosed schizophrenic who had reportedly previously attacked a "friend" with a hammer back in 2015, killing him.

There are many myths and false information about the video above. The crime was attributed to sexual hatred in Morocco or India. There is also information that the film comes from Mexico.

The victim is undoubtedly Wesley Tiago de Sousa Carvalho (17 years old). He was a Brazilian from the city of Fortaleza, which has repeatedly appeared on our website as the place where the bloodiest crimes take place.

As we found out, the woman with whom he was in a relationship and the woman who recorded the entire crime on video were the same person. However, we do not know the full background of their shared history. However, it can be assumed that the man did something that his girlfriend did not like very much. And she was ruthless in her revenge. However, these are just our speculations...

Back to the facts, Wesley December 30, 2017 he was lured by his girlfriend to a secluded place. There he was attacked by cartel- most likely DGE. As you can see in the video, they started attacking Wesley with all the gear they had at hand. Stones, bricks, tiles, pieces of wood and, in the main role, an ax and a hoe were used. As we have already mentioned, the entire action was filmed by his (now ex) woman and published on the Internet.

A week after the crime, the gendarmerie recognized and located Luciano Alves de Sousa (21), known as "Peba". The suspect admitted to participating in the crime. The second detainee was José Carlos Evangelista dos Santos, 23, known as "Paulista." The rest of the suspects are still wanted.

In December 2008, a brutal seven-minute video was released online, recording the sadistic torture and murder of 48-year-old Sergei Yatzenko in the forest by 19-year-old "maniacs from Dnipropetrovsk" (Ukraine). Viktor Sayenko, Alexander Hanzha and Igor Suprunyuck murdered 21 people in less than two months (June-July 2007). It started with hanging dogs and cats and ended with hunting people: homeless people, women, old people, alcoholics, children. They filmed two murders on a mobile phone ("Eden Lake" bows), nearly 300 macabre photos were presented in court. They killed with heavy objects (metal rods, hammer). They directed their blows at the faces of the attacked to deprive them of human features. Many victims were mutilated and tortured: some had their eyes gouged out while they were still alive. One of the dead was a pregnant woman: her executioners cut out her fetus. There was no sexual motive for the series of murders. A brutal recording of the murder of a homeless man (called 'Ukrainian brutal murder') is circulating on the Internet, and it was found on the computer of one of the perpetrators. He is incredibly brutal and inhumane.

The boys' cell phones and laptops contained recordings of some of the murders and hundreds of photos, including photos showing posing next to dead dogs and cats and having fun at the victims' funerals (mocking, 'falling' from tombstones). The video leaked online shows a defenseless man lying on the ground in the forest. One of the teenagers hits him several times in the face with a hammer hidden in plastic foil. The victim is bleeding and having difficulty breathing. Then the torturers stab him in the stomach and eye with a screwdriver. Yatzenko is still breathing, moaning in agony, trying to cover his face with the last of his strength... He receives several more blows to the face with a hammer to make sure he is dead. The murderers walk away towards the car, showing that the crime scene is close to the road. They discuss the fact that the man was still alive despite having a screwdriver inserted into his skull. Surprise. Washing the hammer with water from a bottle. Finally, the cruel laughter of both of them shows that humanity has just gone into the gutter. At the very end, the smiling killer says to his companion behind the camera, "Okay, let's go take some photos.

In the images, Carlos answers, with difficulty, questions asked by his father. The teenager says the name and class of the attacker (censored in the video). Then, Carlos confirms that the student jumped on top of him and says that, when breathing, he feels pain in his back. The teenager also reports that he wasn't even playing with his colleague.

It happened on 19th of October 2017 in Blantyre (specifically Chatha near the Chileka road), right next to the police roadblock. Location on Malawi map:

Local media informed that the 22 yo man was placed into police custody after he was found lying (or sleeping) near a graveyard. He was disabled, but media describe it differently: either intellectually disabled, mentally ill or epileptic. It often happens that the marginalized people are accused of being anamapopa - a blood-sucker. Here is a quote from February 2018, placing this event in some context:

In mid-September 2017, rumours of blood sucking spread from across the border in nearby Mozambique to Malawi. Despite statements from the police and the Society of Medical Doctors dispelling the deadly rumours as a hoax, fear fuelled by social media spread across villages and towns in southern Malawi, resulting in at least nine people being killed by vigilantes. Scores more were injured and over 200 people have been arrested for the attacks on those accused of being anamapopa, or 'blood suckers'.

After rumors started spreading that the detainee is a blood-sucker, the mob managed to get him out of the custody. They were upset by not moving this man to Chileka Police Station quickly enough. After throwing stones at the cops and chasing them away, they retrieved the victim from a makeshift cell. The man was beaten to death and burned. Reportedly, a health passport or ID was found near to him, suggesting that he was released from the hospital in Chiradzulu. It's a smaller town, northeast of Blantyre. Police didn't release any details the same day, but the manhunt started. The victim's identity was not disclosed, although it's known that his relatives lived in the area.

At the same day's night, a medic was stopped by the angry mob hunting for blood-suckers near the same Chileka road. Thankfully, he only was robbed from the money in his wallet and let go alive. News mention another man stoned to death for alleged blood-sucking in this area, but whether it was the same day or not, it was not mentioned.

The next day, the police announced that 140 people have been arrested in connection to a recent wave of lynching people for being blood-suckers. Among them were two people who were sending the messages to people in Phalombe (70 km or 43 mil east of Blantyre) that there are bloodsuckers. According to the cops, these killed people were innocent and there are no blood-suckers in Malawi. Police Inspector General Lexten Kachama, who spoke to reporters on 20th of October, stated that 'the rumours are just being spread by some bad people who want to bring fear among Malawians'.

Paramount Chief Ngolongoliwa of the Lhomwe people says that even as far back as the 1920s, people feared attacks by the anamopopa, particularly during the summer months.

"Usually these vampire rumours start at the beginning of summer and they end at the start of the rainy season. The common explanation is that it is easy for the vampires to attack their victims in the hot season because their blood circulation is very high," says Ngolongoliwa.

You have to know that the hot and wet season, which we'd call summer (even though Malawi has just two seasons), lasts there from November to April.
