That is what I saw, as well, back when this was up on BestGore. She wasn't involved in gang activities, but her brother or cousin was, and this was meant to send them (and other snitches) the message that "If we can't get you, we'll take your family and you can't stop us". I wonder if the actual snitch was ever caught and murdered? This is like the setup to a revenge story.
