I was sent these images as a threat but I feel like I have seen them in a video before. Does anyone recognize.

Just found out it was a scam so I tracked the number down and sent them a picture of a letter with the addresses and phone numbers and people connected to those numbers with a few other cartel images. Should be enough to stop a scammer for a bit right ?

What? You 'tracked the number down?'

You DO UNDERSTAND phone number spoofing? Don't you?

Scammers can make ANY RANDOM phone number show up on your call display. It usually isn't the number they are calling from.

So you probably just sent an innocent person images that would be very traumatic for them.

I looked up the address and the same car that was sketchy was parked outside. I'm very aware of my soundings. It could be a fake number but something has me thinking that it was local since the same sketchy car that I saw in the area is parked outside of the address of the same number that sent me that. It could just be a stupid local scammer

Many scammers are too stupid to hold down a real job. Or too lazy, or too undisciplined.
