not a sex offender that is someone else but still, if you leave the military or are currently enrolled they should do mental evaulations yearly. he was admitted into a mental hospital; people ik irl who have been 5150's have to sign a paper when leaving saying they can't own a gun so it should've been the same for this guy but who knows he could've gotten a rifle from one of his veteran butt buddies for the purpose of "showing it to the woke libtards or whatever this nutcase was on about, i wouldn't be surprised if we see more arrests from people giving this guy things or helping him skirt mental checks

I just looked at a map, and yes, I think he was about 150 miles from the Canadian border - but there is SO much forest up there - that he could just keep walking forever - and nobody would see him. I'm pretty sure the cops have lots of helicopters up - looking for him, and their infrared is great at spotting people in the woods - but if he walked 4 miles an hour, he could be far enough away that they wouldn't be looking in that area, and he left his car at a boat ramp, and he had some sort of small boat, so he might travel by water as far as he can, and then sink the boat so they won't know where to start looking for him, and walk from there - or carjack someone and kill them and leave their body in the woods. He could then drive across the country.
I suspect he planned things well enough that his water getaway made it very unlikely the cops could catch him with roadblocks. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him captured soon.

It's hard to think of any female mass shooters. There was the serial killer Eileen Wuornos, but that's slightly different than a mass shooter - and it's hard to come up with an example of women going out and shooting a bunch of people all at once. Maybe it's a hormone thing. I used to know a woman who sometimes said that some men she met had testosterone poisoning (ie; they were macho jerks).

You're pretty much right about the "testosterone" thing. If it's not controlled, it can lead to aggressive behaviour, and you often hear this from anti-male sites, etc.
The thing is though: Testosterone can also be a good thing. There's a reason why most soldiers, deep sea fishermen, even CEO and politicians, are men. Testosterone, when controlled, provides strength, confidence, and power.
They have proven than women working in powerful jobs (Like CEOs, etc) have higher than normal levels of testosterone. They don't know yet if the job itself raised the levels of testosterone, or these women had higher levels to begin with and thats why they chose those jobs, but testosterone is definitely connected with male confidence and power and strength.
People often talk about how most violence is commited by men, but they dont talk about how most violence is also prevented by men. If your house catches fire, the chances are the person who rescues you will be male, if there's a war, most people defending your country will be male. If theres a mugging or a crime, most police officers who respond will be probably be male, and this is especially true with specialist firearms teams (SWAT, etc).
Testosterone has its problems, but it has its uses too.
