Earlier, the press service of the Almaty Police Department reported that, according to preliminary information, the driver of a KIA car, crossing Makataev Street in a southern direction, collided with a bus on route 18, served by the private carrier City-Bus LLP, which subsequently caused hitting an obstacle.
As a result of the accident, 16 bus passengers sought medical help, and another passenger died at the scene.
