A motorcyclist identified as José Hilton dos Santos, aged 58, died this Sunday (17) after colliding with the back of a truck on Rua Piscicultura, in the Jardim Primavera neighborhood, west of Boa Vista. The accident occurred on Saturday (16) and the man died at the Roraima General Hospital (HGR).
The Military Police were at the scene of the accident and informed the police that the victim was traveling along Rua Piscicultura, towards the Center towards the neighborhood, when the driver of a car, which was traveling in the same direction, performed a maneuver preventing the motorcycle from passing.
In an attempt to avoid the vehicle, the motorcyclist collided head-on with the left rear of a truck that was parked on the right side of the street.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) provided first aid and intubated the man while still at the scene of the accident.
He was removed to HGR with severe head trauma. The State Department of Health (Sesau) reported that the motorcyclist died at around 7:40 am this Sunday.

The collision between a car and a motorcycle, in the early hours of Monday (18), resulted in the death of motorcyclist Barbosa Dantas de Moura, aged 30. The accident occurred on BR 316, Bomba neighborhood, in the municipality of Picos, 313 km from Teresina.
According to information from the 4th Military Police Battalion (4th BPM), the victim was in the company of his girlfriend in a cafeteria, when he decided to go out to “warm up the engine”.
While riding, the motorcycle crashed into a car passing on the opposite road and the motorcyclist was thrown.
The man died at the scene and the 41-year-old driver of the passenger car suffered minor injuries. The Federal Highway Police (PRF) and the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) of Picos were called to the scene of the accident.
The burial of Iure Barbosa Dantas de Moura will take place in Saco do Agreste, city of Dom Expedito Lopes, where the student has family members.

In an unfortunate accident that occurred on the morning of Sunday, March 17 in the Salapi area of the Buena Fe canton, the community lost a respected educator. Ramón Zambrano, a prominent teacher at the Federico Intriago Educational Unit in the canton, lost his life in a traffic accident.
According to reports, Zambrano was traveling in a red truck on the Salapi road, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and fell into a ravine near an estuary in the town, resulting in his immediate death. The body of the renowned teacher will be laid to rest at the Federico Intriago facility, where he lived for many years.

In the accident that occurred on Ali Marım Boulevard in Yenişafak Mahallesi neighborhood of Merkezefendi district, a car with 34 RZE 87 license plate driven by H.Y. (22) hit Alaattin Cunkuş, 59, who was trying to cross the road with the bread he bought for iftar. Alaattin Cunkuş, who was thrown into the air with the violence of the impact, fell meters ahead. Happened on November 10, 2020, around 9 pm in Łódź, Poland
Two young people - 25 years old driver and his 19 years old female passenger - were driving south on Jana Pawła II Avenue. The car was clearly speeding.
At a intersection with Obywatelska Street, 59 years old driver of Iveco truck (belonging to Polish Post) was turning turning left.
Audi slammed into the side of the truck, killing driver and passenger instantly.
Iveco driver wasn't seriously injuried, but was taken to the hospital due to shock.
Police measured braking traces of Audi - it was 80 meters.
Small amount of dried herb was found inside Audi. It was likely marijuana.

Three women of a marriage party were killed and 15 others injured when a speeding SUV allegedly rammed into them near the bride's house at Mandiapalli under Gopalpur police station in Ganjam district late on Tuesday night.
The deceased were identified as Sanjukta Reddy (23) of Mandiapalli, Sapna Reddy (21) of Chhatrapur and Bharati Reddy (11) of Lanjipalli in Berhampur, all relatives of the bride, police said.
“The mishap took place when around 50 people, mostly from the bride's side, were standing on the roadside and waiting for the groom to arrive,” said Sarada Prasana Das, inspector in-charge, Gopalpur police station. Police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured persons with the help of locals.
“While 12 injured were admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here, three others have been referred to Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh,” said Siba Shankar Mohapatra, sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), Berhampur Sadar. Among the injured, two are cameramen.
Police said the vehicle had Chhattisgarh registration number. “Its driver and some occupants fled from the spot after the accident. One of the passengers was detained and the vehicle seized,” said Mohapatra. A search has been launched to nab the driver,” he said.

On the road from La Esperanza to San Mateo, Quetzaltenango, Erick Sical Mazariegos, 30 years old, died after being run over."He was riding his bicycle, he skidded, there was a sign out of the store and he collided with it, because of the impact he returned to the asphalt, a truck was coming and ran over him", said a witness.

CEBU, Philippines — A motorist was killed after he collided with a Toyota Vios vehicle while traveling on H. Mall Road, Barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday morning.Police Chief Master Sergeant Rhymond Sosmena, investigator of the Traffic Enforcement Unit of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LCPO) identified the deceased as Roger Cavan Valiente, Jr., 30-years-old, married, from Sitio Abuno, Barangay Pajac, City. in Lapu-Lapu.
Sosmena said that another car overtook the victim and it ran into a Toyota Vios driven by Norhan Inrahim Manongiring, 24 years old, from Sitio Matumbo, Barangay Pusok in that city.
Due to the force of the impact of the collision, the victim fell to the road and sustained serious injuries.
The victim was quickly taken to the Mactan Doctors Hospital in Barangay Basak in that city but it was declared by Dr. Sonny Alorvida was dead when he arrived at the hospital.
Sosmena added that Manongiring is currently in their custody.
