Fishermen find the body of a teenager in the Tocantins River in Marabá

The young woman, Raissa Silva, jumped into the waters, last Wednesday afternoon (17), at Orla Sebastião Miranda.

MARABÁ (PA) – On Saturday afternoon (20), the body of teenager Raissa Ferreira da Silva, aged 14, was found in Praia da Rainha, on the Tocantins River, close to the city of Itupiranga, in the southeast of Pará.

The young woman jumped into the water, last Wednesday afternoon (17), at Orla de Marabá, and disappeared. The Military Fire Department was called and began searching, but Raissa Silva was not located. Her corpse was tangled up in tree branches in an advanced state of decomposition.

The body must be dragged to the bank of the Tocantins River by firefighters. Afterwards, a team from the Legal Medical Institute (IML) will remove the remains for medical examination. The young woman's family has been devastated since the day of the girl's tragic disappearance. (Debate Portal)

An Armenian migrant attacked an elderly woman in downtown Klagenfurt, Austria, the OE24 daily reported citing the local police.

Accordingly, Aram B., a 28-year-old refugee, attacked this 62-year-old woman on the street—and with a kitchen knife.
