In the Tatarstan town of Zelenodolsk, a visitor died at the entrance to an alkomarket. The moment of his death was recorded by a video surveillance camera. The published footage shows the man slipping on a flat spot, falling to the tiled floor and no longer moving. The medics who arrived on the scene only stated his death.
According to the Mash Iptash Telegram channel, the family of the deceased believes that he died from the impact of the face on the tile. However, according to relatives, doctors wrote that the man died of a heart attack, which is why the law enforcers did not initiate a criminal case. Now the relatives demand that the Interior Ministry investigate the causes of the incident.

He could very easily be drunk. It's Russia, looks like nighttime and he was on his was to buy alcohol. Which would explain the lack of instinct to impact his fall/him falling in the first place.

His family definitely has a lawsuit available for them. Businesses are supposed to clear ice so exactly this doesn't happen. I know this cause I work at a ski area as a lift operator, but I also have to work the parking lot too. If you don't clear the snow off the ramp people will absolutely fall. I see people fuckin eat it daily.

Fair point. I'm just a ski lift operator in the US so it's definitely different here. We clear the ice and snow to prevent lawsuits. Some lady one time crashed skiing and broke her leg, tried suing the ski area I work at. Long story short, she sued and lost. Not our fault she ate shit and broke her leg. We maintain our lifts real well.

yeah usa has its thing with lawsuits, but has other issues that russia dont need to deal with, from elite level of racism, daily mass shootings, emigrants and other crap. russia is shithole too, but lawsuits are rare in most of world, i live in EU country to win lawsuit against anyone is harder than winning in lottery

Oof. In the U.S. all it takes is something like this, slipping on some ice the employee's failed to clear. If he didn't die he'd at least get his medical bills paid for by the company who owned the store.

If your shoes are wet then there shouldn't be ice in the doorway. It's Russia, it's probably below freezing.

This isn't specifically Russian, this shit happens all the time across the globe. It's part of why you can sue businesses for this exact reason. He slipped ONLY because the business didn't clear the ice, doesn't matter if he's drunk, if they cleared it he wouldn't have slipped. I should know, I work at a ski area where people slip on ice daily. At a ski area that's expected, at a liquor store, it's negligence.

The average temperature in Russia during winter is 23° almost 10° below freezing. Nobody will have wet shoes.

0 degrees is freezing in Celsius, in fahrenheit it's 32. Russia uses Celsius, AKA the metric system.

How can a lame, random fall that happened to all of us already is enough to kill a grown man?
Unless the title of this post was misleading and the guy didnt died and sort of passed out for a few minutes

I'm thinking this is a “when it's your time, it's your time” kinda thing. It's true that one human can survive an extremely catastrophic event while the next dies from bumping their head(or face!) the wrong way. It's partially how we're built inside and partially just a grand scheme we couldn't possibly understand. In my humble opinion, of course!

I want to know the mechanics of how the store owner bribed the cops to rule THIS a heart attack. Like, hows that work? Howed they think theyd swing it? Like, there's corruption in Russia, but corruption only works when the person you are using it on ISN'T corrupt. Obviously the family would have their own ties and push their own leverage back.

He did NOT need more booze. When you're drunk you get knocked out way easier, and being knocked out for an extended period of time can be fatal.
