Here's a tip for all gun owners. It's actually perfectly safe to look into the barrel of a gun and pull the trigger as long as the gun isn't loaded. And it can be a lot of fun. Go ahead and do that as much as you want.

Even if you assume the gun isn't loaded, don't ever look down the barrel. A buddy I worked with years ago was playing with his new Glock, accidentally shot himself in the heart. His entire family saw it happen. He swore up and down it was unloaded but his nephew took it to the range only hours earlier without him knowing.
You never fucking know, so don't fuck around and you won't find out.

See that's the problem. He looked down the barrel of a LOADED gun. So yeah my advice stands. It's absolutely, 100% safe to look down the barrel of a gun that isn't loaded, say "look ma!" and then pull the trigger. Stop being so fearful of imaginary, non-existent risks.
