Instead of smoothly gliding to a halt as intended, the sudden encounter with this uphill section caused an abrupt stop, exerting excessive force on the anchor points and dislodging the zip-line.

In summary, this accident was the result of several factors: the use of improper equipment, the misalignment of the zip-line, and the excessive weight placed on the system.
