POOL TRAGEDY Horror pic shows boy just moments before he drowns in swimming pool as adults don't notice him for over a minute.
A HORROR pic shows a boy jumping into a swimming pool just moments before he drowned - without anyone noticing.
The tragic youngster was submerged underwater for over a minute at the facility in the city of Lianyuan, China, on August 14.
Despite diving into the water that was already filled with numerous adults and other kids, the boy's ordeal went unnoticed by other pool-goers.
Chilling CCTV footage that's too distressing to publish shows the excited lad dive into the pool near some steps, just a short distance away from other swimmers.
But his innocent dip soon turned deadly, as the boy can be seen visibly distressed as he struggled to keep his head above water.
He frantically flails his arms in a bid to reach the surface, while a man in a white t-shirt monitors the pool from the sidelines.
It is currently unclear if he was a lifeguard at the facility.
The youngster, who has not been named, continues to fight for breath while desperately splashing around in the water.
Another child approaches the edge of the pool and witnesses his struggle - but simply dips his feet in before walking away.
Other swimmers can be seen milling around the pool for over a minute, while the boy fights to stay afloat.
But he eventually exhaustedly sinks to the bottom of the pool.
He is horrifically slumped underwater when the bloke in the white t-shirt finally notices his lifeless body after switching his position.
However, instead of heroically jumping in to save the child, he bizarrely points to the boy and shouts to someone on the other side of the pool.
The disturbing footage then captures another man sprinting around to the young lad and diving in to retrieve him.
Another man also jumps in to help save the youngster before the pair haul his boy out of the water as the video ends.
Further traumatic scenes ensued, as lifeguards desperately tried to resuscitate the boy while a woman sobs on the floor next to him.
It is unclear if the woman was his mother.
Despite the first aiders efforts, the young boy reportedly died after drowning in the packed pool.

Bro the fucked up thing is, they might've even been able to save him after that dumb fuck first spotted him if only he jumped in and tried to pull the kid out. I knew a guy that had a seizure while in a pool on holiday and sank to the bottom, he was down there for at least 3 minutes before someone spotted him and dragged him out. He was fucked up but survived. Perfectly fine again now somehow, lucky to not have brain damage. This guy full on just killed a kid.

I've done that as a kid too, but I'd always do it where it is shallow enough that you could just stand up.
I think it was a case that the kid jumped in without realising how deep it is, then panicked and flailed around.
Kinda happened to me when I was a kid, but my friend and I were doing it together but he hasn't jumped in yet so called the lifeguard to grab me out lol.

I wasn't able to swim for a very long time I just was never taught. So once you're in deep water you just don't know what the fuck to do. I used to try staying over the water just swimming like dogs but that didn't last long. Then you're just exhausted and the only thing you can do is jump. Go down jump breath real quick till some fucker helps you. Luckily I can somehow swim now.

And every time I'd burst into an insane, breath deprived laugh staring at the image as the words SNEED ran through my head. Thanks to Hollywood, a lot of people think that people who are drowning will scream for help. Which they obviously don't, because they're busy trying to breathe. This kid was as stereotypical drowning as could be, bouncing up and down silently while flailing the arms. A well trained life guard would spot him instantly.

I have to agree. Im not a lifeguard, but grew up going to the beach a lot and worked with kids; that awkward trashing inefficient movements are kind of the stereotypical "weak swimmer at risk of drowning." Around 30 seconds in it seems apparent they arent joking around and need help. At 1 min in, its hard to recognize and it just looks like "a kid doing weird pool kid shit" like they are okay. At 2:35 that guy on the pool deck sees the kid and should have red flags. A person laying at the bottom isnt normal. Worse part was when he did notice he didnt even jump in. What a piece of shit. If hes a swim coach or a parent he should be ashamed of himself.
