Not funny, bro. Its fine if you cope like that in private. But otherwise you should exercise some self-awareness. If my autistic ass can do it. You can too.

In the article is said that they believe the gun unintentionally went off a second time as well. Personally I believe it looks like she took her own life but I just dont know.

In the interview with her mother, she says similar, when it's so obvious it was a suicide.

You can tell she needs to believe both shots were accidental. Could be for any number of reasons, but I think it's probably easier for her to swallow that it was unintentional, rather than really internalizing that her daughter felt so much shame, fear, and regret in her last seconds that she went from being a normal, dumb kid to making the choice to end her own life. That she wasn't able to live with her mistake for longer than one short moment.

It's definitely the case that she killed herself, but it doesn't really do any good to force the facts on the living, because it only makes it harder for those left behind and changes precisely nothing about the situation otherwise. It's alright to let them live with the lie.

Yeah, unintentional, right. That's why the gun is equipped with a 50 round magazine.

they where being stupid dumb kids. loaded the mag and started playing with it like idiots. doesn't excuse the fact it was an accident, so rest in peace to them both

Those little kids didn't have the hand strength to load a magazine, let alone chamber a round. That gun was left out, by whomever owned it, with one in the chamber and ready to fire. Only a bump on the trigger separating life and death.

is there any source to this? a child could definitely load a magazine.

A source? LOL You're looking for research on this? What a dumbass... it's obvious you have zero experience with firearms.

i've known people this exact age and demeanor and yes they can definitely load a fucking gun...

No, you haven't.

I do, it doesn't take any core strength to load a firearm. At least nothing a child couldn't do.

It was a loaded mag. Girl was "playin" with it. When someone shouldve taught these children some gun safety. As a mtter of fact. It shouldve been locked up and hidden. That girl didnt mean to kill her cousin. It was written all over her face. Shock.

while i agree with you, this was a problem way deeper than just needing a little gun safety talk. that boy could've possibly owned that gun and sold drugs for a living... this is america

That's what struck me about it. There was no decision making, no crying or wondering what to do. Incredible.

It was cuz she aint mean to do it. She didnt know how to handle the firearm in the first place. Hence her accidentally killn her cousin. Id bet in the shock of the moment, she picked up the firearm incorrectly. Honestly, its the adults faults'. These kids shoulda never had access to a firearm. Its that simple, and yet somehow it wouldnt even common sense.
