It always amazes me how little bystanders do for someone possibility dying, they just accept death the second theyre shot/fall/hit by car, it looks more like theyre just dealing with the corpse not a dying person.

At least just lift their legs so blood gets to their head, if theres a wound spend 10s packing it or making a tourniquet, if theyre unconscious just do cpr on the supposed corpse for the slim chance it saves their life. How can you just stand there, even step over the guy, pretending theres nothing you couldve done to help.

And even if you think theyre obviously dead, most of the time they dont die on impact but its drawn out.

Gunshots annoy me the most because people act like its a video game and when you get hit enough bullets your hp goes down and your consciousness just leaves your body.

In 90% of cases its the bleeding out that kills you, not the random organ that has a hole through it. If theres someone around to pack the wound withing literal seconds of it being made there is no reason you should die.

Even in videos of police or military they just stand around doing nothing, youd expect them to leap to the guy and maniacally start first aid with the same vigor and instinct as they would shoot someone that points a gun at them.

He was going to survive the initial impact and writhe around in agony before dying if he had landed on his feet. But the redirect by the tower made him land head first and it was lights out when he hit the ground.
