A woman 
who fell from a bus near Sankarankoil has died in a tragic 
accident, according to CCTV footage 
of the accident.
Perumalsamy hails from Ramalingapuram near Sankarankoil in Tenkasi district. His wife is Maheshwari (46). They have a son and a daughter. Maheshwari used to work in a match factory. She was coming home in a mini bus last evening to buy goods in Kalugumalai. Then she got up from her seat and stood near the steps as she came to the landing.
Then, she stumbled off the bus unexpectedly and fell on the road. Maheshwari was seriously 
injured 
and fought for her life. The driver 
immediately stopped the bus and rescued Maheshwari along with the passengers and admitted her to the Kuruvikulam Government Hospital. There 
she received first 
aid and was later 
sent to Nellai Government Hospital 
for further treatment. But Maheshwari died on the way to the hospital. Kuruvikulam police 
recovered the body and sent it for autopsy.
