Bit dramatic they did try to save them and it didn't go to plan - why would he blame himself for trying his best to save them?

Sad sure maybe the natural "what could I have done different" thoughts but at the end of the day he was there hanging off some fucking chinese made rope he definitely doesn't feel guilty.
