I remember seeing this a while back- there was a lot of talk about it being fake. It looks fake, sounds fake, the timing is too perfect, etc.. Slowing it to .25 playback speed, the impact does look a little odd. People were saying that there is a cut in the video right before impact- a dummy could then be thrown onto the hood, the footage cut together, boom, you've got a fake pedestrian being run over.
This is 2023 Clown World, and fucking California, no less- nothing is too ridiculous or absurd to happen, so it could be real, just thought I'd point out that this was questionable footage when it popped up.
