Yeah sorry... there's no zebra crossing and he could only see the lady and assumed she wouldn't cross because she sees him coming.

Can't expect to be given right of way if there's no crossing. Makes no sense.

So it's not all driver driver driver..

That said, he was driving a bit faster than he should've been imo.

The driver should have seen that cars were already stopped in both directions, waiting for the people to cross. I don't know where this took place so I'm not going to speculate who was wrong legally, but I've seen enough videos on this site of drivers speeding past stopped cars and hitting crossing pedestrians that I have little sympathy for these drivers.

No zebra crossing but you can tell they are walking through a small path in the boulevard between the road lanes. I think there is blame on both sides in this case. As a parent you ought to keep your children near you and protected, and as a driver you ought to follow the traffic laws and pay attention. Sad situation all around.
