I don't understand how this killed her, she didn't hit her head or neck, she hit her shoulder. Fuck I've fallen from a full out galloping horse, and not hurt myself...(you have to know how to fall once committed to the ground, best to roll, your shoulder's better broken than your head)

I've had a horse flip and fall on me while galloping, but we were on dirt not pavement and I was ok. We were taught to protect our head always when riding- to be careful when you fall not to let it hit the ground...

It looks to me that her head is at the furthest point from the back wheel of the bike she's on and when buddy collides with them his back tire hits their back tire and with that pivot action she's moving pretty fast by the time she hits the ground. Initial impact is at left hip followed by left shoulder and that has the effect of whipping her head into the ground with even greater force (or at least that's how it looks to me). It is odd how she's still got that phone in a death grip and her arm is up but then she's definitely seizing at the end there. The impact might have caused a brain bleed so she'd be 'fine' for a period of time until her intercranial pressure begins to rise at which point her condition would deteriorate - lose consciousness, agonal breathing, death - that kind of thing. .
