he was not a bystander, he is part of the government unit that go around confiscate people home by force (with little to not compensation),.

There is also a case where enforcer find out his home got confiscate after work, that's how brutal it is in China.

It looked like a Family Guy skit with his hand twitching, twisted behind his back, lol.

It always gets to me when a complex system like the human body, which is so powerful that it is capable of producing a consciousness that can think itself independent from the body that produced it, is reduced to pure automatic twitching

I like to philosophize and daydream about these kinds of topics.

Is our whole existence and thought simply gone if our body can no longer support us? Or is there something else after death?

Or are we just whining too much and it just ends after death, simple as that?

One thing's for absolute certain; we're all going to find out.

What's interesting for me is that we have no recollection of consciousness before we were born, or even of the first few months of life for a lot of people, and this leads a lot of people to assume that - logically - there was nothing before, so there's nothing after.

The issue I have with that is that is the something in the middle.

There's absolutely no rhyme or reason to physical existence yet here we are, thinking fleshy automatons masquerading as important characters in our own little life stories that are either misguided delusions of sentience casting shadows on a backdrop of cosmic irrelevance, a complete fluke of reality that should not be... or we're experiencing a bespoke, temporary human experience with no memory or awareness of the pre or post-humanity that would taint or cheapen the journey.

But that's just my opinion... I personally go with "something", because the alternative's too miserable. Existing is the miracle that opens the door to any other conceivable fantasy; death being a return to nothingness has a distinct lack of imagination.

I like to think about this stuff, too. I have no answer of course, though I tend to see life as a sort of continuous universal process and the single organisms as sort of "receptors" capable of picking it up, so when they break or stop functioning, the process goes on all the same undisturbed, but without one of its expressions. So in that sense, if we are that life, even without the body we go on, but not in the sense that our individual ghost detaches from the body and goes somewhere else. At least that's how imagine it

Whenever i get looped in all these questions i just fall back on mother nature.

Only to discover that the loophole only gets deeper...

It's just a bunch of chemicals and minerals mixed together to the stage we have on this planet.

The telescope recently that took pictures of our galaxy with a unimaginable large scale.

It makes me wonder if we're the only fuckers in this or another universum.

I've always been confused about some things as I ponder this.

It could be argued that there is energy inside of the brain, right? Isn't there a law regarding energy and dying?

Damn. That twitching at the end is brutal.

Just don't go stupid places. You don't need to be ten feet from a crumbling building watching it collapse.
