The best I can come up with is she's in shock, but in a half-form of clarity type of shock. She understands what she did, what the possible repercussion are, and who she lost. At the same time, her priorities are entirely in that moment and isn't thinking clearly overall. I mean, asking her to wake up and shaking her? I'm sure you can point out many other oddities.
